You shouldn't have to enter the boxid using oscam buddy, it does it for you......

No benefit whatsoever bud, the solo2 is more than adequate for your needs.... very quick box and solid as a rock!

Starting from scratch and re-flashing the image would probably be a better option in this case, that way you can rule out that it is a corrupt or problem with the image installed..... also consider setting up a swap file after re-flashing the image and installing a few plugins etc...

Yes it is possible, but if your sly card is paired to a HD box then it will need to be paired to a SD receiver (that's if they will even do it anymore...) to be able to be used for sharing.

It will be useless for sharing bud.... it's a closed source receiver...

Your thinking is correct regards using Linux as a operating system for sat stuff, loads of support on here for setting up a server on a pc....

All the VU models will allow you to watch freesat & sly........

Really depends on what your budget is. A really good buy is the Vu solo2, this is a twin tuner box that you can install an internal 2.5 HDD in so you can record. If you can't stretch to that then the Vu Duo is also a good buy, a bit of an oldie now in terms of spec & speed but a rock solid receiver all the same with loads of support.

ok check with the peer who your line is from.... looks like it's not allowing reshare. More than likely showing as a double login at their end...

Ok so it's down to your server or local card bud..... do you use a share to open premium channels?

If you try to record two FTA channels does it work ok??? just so we can rule out a tuner issue....

What reset button do you mean bud? never seen one on a Vu Solo......
