However, "M7" cards do not exist in Irdeto encoding. The so-called "M7" cards are new cards - in the Viaccess coding system. Or I am wrong ? I don't know much about Skylink provider marketing :). Irdeto decoding cards, Skylink provider stopped selling. Only new cards are sold - the so-called "M7" (Viaccess encoding).

looking at an alternative to sky. I want a box that is stable and will allow recording a free satellite channel which watching a DVB channel. Also some that has a 7 day guide and that updates and allows series link. Having the option to set recording remotely like sky would also be nice. Can I setup this box to use card sharing or IPTV also? What's the best OS to get on these? And which plug is most like SKY? Tls

Faulty LNB ?
Post…fitted to it. Annoyingly Sky have altered the neck diameter of the newer LNB's. The diameter is now 37mm whereas previously it was 40mm. Please also see our 40mm LNB adaptor which will allow the use of standard 40mm neck LNB's on the original Sky dish -
