Hi I am also looking for image for a genuine DM800SEV2 preferably with a 89r bootloader as I am trying to restore my box from no ca found I have managed to get as far as firmware upgrade successful waiting on web connection so I need the image in NFI to flash via the web anybody can help please ?

στην VU+ και στον καλεμη εστειλες mail... το μπλε δεν απαντησες αν πατησες και τι εγινε... επισης,δε νομιζω οτι χρειαζεται να παει στην "μαμα" ο δεκτης,απο τη στιγμη που ανοιγει και δουλευει κανονικα,απλα νεωτερο bootloader χρειαζεται.

I recently bought a Vu+ UNO4K SE and pretty quickly managed to brick it, through pure stupidity ?( Reflashing an image doesn't help, even though the mini-screen does go through the flash process, ending in `Update Complete`. However, the image that failed to flash remains on screen, no matter what. Is there a bootloader I could try, that's compatible with this unit? Otherwise, does anyone have any ideas of what I could do to get it working again? :) Thanks, Andy

It depends on sim and bootloader installed on DM Clone. There are many good image for clone, try them out to make you own opinion about what image you prefer. DM800 Clone Images But personally, when it comes to image to clone 800, I prefer the OpenTS image. The image is "smaller" than most so there is room for your own plug in. Hey lads, thanks and yeah have flashed and reflashed the bootloader couple of times, no problems there at all it seemed, loaded original images, old ones and newer ones. It was no difference unfortunately. Only thing that seems to work is the multibooting and running the images from the external USB flash drive. Ok i have seen a similar issue on a non VU box.... If you can find the bootloader for the box and flash that via usb stick, it should handle the bad blocks. IE -- it will move the bad blocks to a safe sector ( however that is not possible if there are bad blocks in the very first sector) How many bad blocks has it got ?? So found a usb to serial null modem cable so I've at least recovered the DM800HD's bootloader and stuck a working image on it, finally. Damn these clone images everywhere though :cursing:
