…ust pressing random buttons on your remote when this happens. Turn it on and off and the back and just press some buttons. Other things to try... Turn it of at the mains for a while. Try re-flashing with a clean image first, before installing a backup build. http://images.mynonpublic.com/…/index.php?open=zgemmah2s after that you will probably have to try a bootloader. (which can brick your box completely if you mess that up) Zgemma Star Bootloader… -
I have a DM520 supposedly original. It runs original images quite happily, but as I am not trusting the supplier and the OriginalDreambox plugin shows it as not original I fear it is probably a clone with a very good sim. By the way it does not have a sim card but a chip. At the moment it is running openpli 5 from pli.images.net. It has a rescue loader identified as 102 but the latest rescue loader from the dreamupdate board is 103. Does anybody know if updating the rescue loader might cause pro…

Try with some old OpenPli image. TS or Newenigma is to recommend, but my own suggestion to you, honestly, is to change box to either ¨ DM800se or some VU box. DM800 is getting "old" :) But first, get one SSL84D, flash it first before you flash an image. Al images has description in it´s name, that is compatible with bootloader. Search here about it and try. And good luck.

If you see No Ca Found error then you can not get IP for box ... To fix your box you need to flash correct bootloader for your sim (ssl88a) or flash new patched image for Sim2.20 not original image or patched for other boxes (must be for sim2.20) also you need to use (mini usb cable + lan) to fix your box with optiflasher -
As is typical, scratching around in the bit box at work revealed a bag full of 50 V 1000uf caps. I've wasted £1.38 !!! ;-) All working brilliantly. Updated to latest openvix release, and fresh bootloader, and she's flying. A virtual beer to you Jenseneverest  Thank you very much. I took the liberty of mentioning your thread on world of sat, as another lx3 owner had the exact same symptoms, hopefully, he finds it as useful as I did. For those of you that may be interested, the 50v capaci…

… the power supply board, i bought the bits, changed them an happy days it lives again:thumbup: DO NOT do what i did above and flash your bootloader when you box presents these symptoms...., i am very very lucky it did not loose power during the bootloader flash or the would xpeed would certainly be a brick now. My mate has the exact same box bought at about the same time, when i checked his cap's they too were bulging and had leaked fluid onto the power supply board...I strongly suggest you chec…
