Hi, I have bricked my H2, i had almost got it working from a boot loop and then flashed the bootloader after being advised to do so but seems to have corrupted, i now have a blank display and red light. I know i need a cypress board to jtag it but there seem to be different flavours and not sure which to purchase, id prefer a kit type that will give me connectors to solder to the PCB, my other concern is that i will be using a windows 10 laptop. me either lol i'm the orginal try evrything. anyway i have one pal who has a spare 800SE and he's going to lend me that, and got another pal who's an expert on all things or at leaset so he tells me. so he's taking my box reckons he can change the capacitor and put on the bootloader, and get the box working again. anyways later today i should be getting a loan box, and hopefully ending this bloody nightmare. thanks for your help, and best regards: canthackit

What did you do or install before it went into a boot loop ? Are you able to get the box into flash mode ? Is it a clone or original ? If clone which sim and bootloader ?

how can updating this bootloader? need usb stick?

This will be a driver or hardware problem. I would try updating the bootloader and drivers -> Latest SSL Secondstage Bootloader for DM520

The latest bootloader is DM800se sim2 84d. Make sure you are using Linuxsat Panel version 1.5 to fix the wget error.

your on bootloader 84 latest images also on 84 so just flash image to suit your sim no need looking for 84a as long as you are on 84 thats all you need sim 2.01 84
