(Quote from jenseneverest) im not even setting up epg at all, (i also thought that was causing it) im leaving it disabled untill i diagnose the problem,, upto now its running fine with the downgraded bootloader, the components inside are hot to the touch but not hot enough not to touch if that makes sense. i guess im just going to have to run the box a few days and see what happens

openatv-5.3-zgemmas2s-20160806_usb Original ive also tried a few other originals with the same result, just cant get my head round it,, its not the image that seems to be the issue, its the bootloader whats getting stuck. just powered it on again with successful boot ********************************************** Just put PLI on and its booting fine,, im guessing this is the Bootloader info (see pic) https://www.dropbox.com/s/6cri…_20160827-192317.png?dl=0

****please Note**** After 24 hours i turned off my ZGemma and it would not boot back up, exact same problem what i started with,, now i wired it back up to the development board and flashed the previous bootloader (lower version) it now boots up really fast and is performing like it should. ive been powering it off all day (by the socket) leaving it to cool and powering it back on. so far its good. im putting this update on just incase anyone else has the same issue that i had/having.

(the LED flashes on kingstone for about 5-10 mins) ,,,, up on reboot , same. ive tryed every single image type from www.zgemma.tv with the same results. ***UPDATE**** STUCK ON RED LIGHT NOW AFTER ANOTHER ATTEMPT FLASHING BOOTLOADER

(Quote from coopdog) It was a 2 part part job mate, flash bootloader, it will onlt take a few seconds. then flash an openatv image from here: http://images.mynonpublic.com/…/index.php?open=zgemmas2s The image flash can take up to 10 minutes Also disconnect everything else other than usb stick and power cable when flashing.
