As far as I recall, I flashed an image first (openvix hades ,think it was 010), then i flashed the old bootloader. It worked for me but you may have a different issue.

Hi Is there anyway i can reflash the box via telnet? Ive tried all the bootloader and vix 4 image on various sticks, IT does all it should do but still powers back on sitting at the openvix screen, I HAVE FOUND THAT I CAN TELNET IN VIA dreambox tools , but cant ftp in , i need to wipe the system and start again i think , just no idea how i do it

I had a similar experience with a family members one a while ago (receiver wouldn't boot) I flashed the older 600mhz bootloader which sorted it out (boot time was considerably slower though) but when i flashed the newer 750mhz one again, problem returned. I left it on the old bootloader, box was noticeably slower but usable. I've attached the older bootloader for you to try.

Hi I have managwd to instll the bootloader and then the image, but its still sitting on the xp1000 screeen when it reboots :( any ideas? need a older version of image or anything???

thats u choice ,is ok sat reciever linux, but just let u know still have probleme with bootloader, read in the forum post. i test znegmma and edison is the egual reciever
