Although most boxes also have some form of OS running, so just as feasible to dump flash that way also assuming serial or jtag access and a bootloader is available. ive got black hole on it,connevted to tv,all options ,set up etc avilable,just cant connect via laptop to send catseyes etc,presume its the bootloader because the one on this post fails every time i send it after i done the image,i only need to connect to finish set up,hope theres an answer,thanks everyone for helping,appreciated,,,,,,im using another power adater/cable now

Try something from here -> DM800SE Clone Sim 2.10 Images.. The bootloader won`t be included in the image, you will need to flash that at the same time as the image..

afther flashing image you have to put bootloader try ncf programe to revive your box?
