Sort of got this working on my Amiko 8900 now on the Spark side. Basically what I've done is to tell it to use the internal flash, but then renamed the directory in the plugins folder and created a soft link (ln -s) over to the real folder which is on the usb drive. You do need to copy the providers sub folder from the original folder over to the one on the usb. I have recently purchased this box and am trying to set-up my n-line. i have this working fine on a CT9100 running VIX 3.0. I am currently running spark on this box as pre loaded, should i be using another image maybe? I have become realy confused reading various posts, should i be using mcamd, oscam or cccam? I must point out i am a bit of a newbie, Help is much appreciated.

Unfortunately I have the new type of amiko shd 8900 with the new RCU too. I'll try again until I get bored and stop thinking about it. Or maybe I'll try to flash uboot in hyperterminal. Thanks for all the help and suggestion.

As for me, I had done almost 7-8 times re-flashing spark rescue image. It is not that I'm stuck on 'boot' but I had this weird error saying that "IDENT error --uninitiate" in an INFO popup box while on the SPARK boot logo!! Please take a look at the attached photos. I googled for this error but had found no result. Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

… as the Alien 2. My Alien SHD 8900 is a really good box which is a pleasure to use and gives me no trouble at all. How did Amiko get it so wrong with the Alien 2. I thought the idea when releasing a newer box is for it to be better than the last one, not worse. i have tried quite a few e2 images and found pkt nebula 3 the best apart from the scart not working it doesn't work in spark either

The best e2 image i think is the latest HDMU. It is stable but remember it is still in beta. But it is what you prefer. Look arround the forum and read the post of the HDMU e2 images for the amiko alien shd 8900.

Hello friends, does anyone can help me, I've given a lot back to try to resolve the issue, but so far nothing. I have Amiko Alien 8900, for 2 months and pumping without freezes on their channels (Spark image), but when I record the programs that I want, I have no sound (even on timeshift), I have seen the recordings on the computer, because of the media player box i have no sound :ah:. Is there any plugin for audio in Spark? someone has the same problem? thanks!

right lads he i go i have nebula v3 image on works fine but want to get sly uk bouqets on i download a bouqet and converted vua triana toolbox but carnt send them to the allien box i have tryed dcc but not sure in set up for tha also tryed dreamset and triana toolbox still no joy can anyone help thanks
