DTV app eror 'can not detect any demod/tuner'

    I have the same issue with KII Pro S905D and this didn't work for me and was the old Android 7.1. I was sent a newer img file from the vendor but that didn't work either but at least got me back to 7.1.2. If you can give me somewhere to upload I can share it. The version is KII_PRO_AVL6862-NHG47L-20180808.120210.V0213.

    Thanks edge81 and mediaman but the firmware's you have i have too. My box is made after November 2018 and have a new tunner, so the only firmware that works is from 2018/12/21.


    If someone have a box purchased this year, can you please make a backup of the firmware and post it here.

    The vendor sent me this firmware too, but dtv don't work on my box

    No as I said it doesn't work, my original firmware was Dec 2018 so I'm using Coreelcec for now. I'm hoping someone can find the Dec 2018 firmware or a new release is issued.

    I have bought on Feb 2019. So this maybe the problem for dtv? I will look to find something on web for a new sw.

    How about coreelcec? Does it work ok on s2 and t2? Does support cccam or oscam?

    I also bought mine in Feb 2019 but had to reflash as it got in a boot loop. I can't find any newer software on the web. Coreelec works fine for s2 (I believe t2 but I only have my sat connected). It works with oscam also.

    Out of interest where did you get the firmware as I've not seen it online anywhere (I got it from the vendor).

    Hi, glad you got it working but I've tried updating this and get an error message due to a slightly different version (see attached picture) . Where did you find it? Do you have a link to the original full firmware image as flashing that would probably work?

    What is your full name of your box?

    I sent message on different suppliers on aliexpress that sell kii pro s905d and one of them send me this link. It's just ota update. I put on usb and did a update from ext. It worked for me.

    It is a Mecool KII Pro which I bought from Aliexpress (Shenzhen Yojia Technology Co., Ltd.) They sent me the full image for the August 2018 firmware which is what I have now. I also tried the earlier 2017 one but that is on 7.1 and also won't do any OTA updates.

    Same supplier that I have bought too.. I had 08.08.2018 firmware too. Try to format your usb and copy again files on usb.. I don't know why it doesn't work

    I've just tried the first file you added and that has worked! It is actually the original firmware I was on, so many thanks for getting that :-)

    Cheers, it was the December one, that is the original firmware when the box arrived.
