      Sometimes you download a binary, an executable, but

    you don't know if it is for ARM, or another architecture/processor!

      With the "file" command, you can check its type.

    This binary is compiled and is to be run on an ARM hardware, example Vusolo.

      The application name is: file.

    It takes 2 arguments: A "magic file" and a file to check.

    run it as follows:

    ./file -m ./magic.mgc ANY_EXECUTABLE_to_CHECK

    This ncam version also works on Vu+ Uno 4K with Egami image. :thumbup:


    (I unzipped the .IPK file and ftp the required files to the Egami image).

    For openATV + ARM try the old version: enigma2-plugin-softcams-ncam-reloaded_2.0-moh-40_130718_openATV_armv7ahf-vfp-neon.zip in the following link:

    The ipk for openATV is slightly different than that for openPLi !

    Please try this and tell us if u can get the web interface on port 17001 of your box.

    For info this is how the ipk is compiled for openPLi:


    /etc/init.d/softcam.ncam-reloaded-2.0   <= This is the executable script that launches the application/binary

    /etc/tuxbox/config/mohncam-2.0  <= This is the directory that contains the config files


    /usr/bin/ncam-reloaded-2.0  <= This the application/binary executable file


    When you use your browser: http://ip-of-your-box:17001 do you get the web interface?

    This ipk file is for the mips32el Achitecture/CPU STB like Dreambox DM8000 with the openPLi image

    The other images (blackhole, openATV, etc...) generally install files/softcams/scripts, et... in different places than openPLi, and many people don't pay attention to this and complain ncam-reloaded does not work!
