I have installed picons XXL-Picons/transparent, depending on whether you have a light or dark style according to install the picons. For an optimal experience, I recommend the plugin BacknCovers.

In case of errors or crashes, please provide a detailed description, if possible with a screenshot or crash.log.

I will then only post my skinparts here.

Trying not to use Skinparts of this mod in the normal CerXFHD, that will not work.

Thanks to schomi, scrounger and phyr for some converter / renderer and 2-3 graphics

Update v1.6

Advanced event library is supported, please install the plugin.

Installation: Deactivate old skin parts from 1.5, if any should still be activated.

The new skin parts for the Advanced Event Library all have the addition AEL

e.g. skin_AEL_MovieSelection_Backdrop.

These should all be activated in order to enjoy them to the full.

The backdrops are already included in the backdrops skin parts for the movie list and the EMC and can be created for your films with backsNcovers.

If you want to have backdrops in the normal movie list or EMc, you also need to activate a skin part for the backdrops

e.g. "Backdrop dark"

Skinpart MiniTV - Attention: This only works if you have not activated any other skin parts for the channel list (except fluid style), movie list, EMC. VTI-Settings-GUI Page 3/3 Use picture-in-graphics (PiG), you have to activate.

Recommended setting in the AEL plugin: Quality poster: 500x750 Quality cover: 780x430 Maximum size of the images: 200 kb. maximum JPEG compression: 50% - database in flash.

If you have changed from another skin, please delete the thumbnails in the AEL plugin beforehand and have them re-created in CerxFHDMod.

Load the cover / poster in the AEL plugin (r55) (menu key) from the AEL image server, then do a search, the thumbnails are scaled to the size set in the skin. And scrolling through the lists should work fine with 4k boxes.

Creates a task in the VTI for the search in AEL and runs it at night. The first searches usually take 4-5 hours. Restrict the search to your main bouguet and your film / series folder, no IPTV or foreign channels, no data is found there. After 3-4 days, the search takes about 20 minutes

- In the new lists Primetime and Series start planner, which you can find in the main menu, you can change the categories with the channel buttons +/-

- In the AEL plugin you can activate the new EPG style with the thumbnails (use AEL list style) it replaces the normal EPG view

- In the movie list and EMC there is one part for AEL and one for the plugin "backNCovers"

The only difference:

With the AEL version, the backdrops and covers are automatically loaded after a search, if they exist. Pay attention to your settings, if you set too low values in the AEL plugin, the backdrops will of course not look good.

With the version for "backNcovers" the backdrops and covers have to be assigned manually.

- For questions about AEL the covers and posters from AEL please use the AEL thread

- If the skin crashes, please post crash log and which skin parts are used.

AEL Trailer intrigues for all AEL Skinparts, EventView, as well as the standard EPG list. A complete search run with the latest AEL version must be started before the trailer symbol is displayed .
If a trailer is available for a show, a play button appears on the screen (see image "Trailer"), the trailer is then started by pressing the play button on the remote control.
Minor bug fixes

Manual installation of packages

The option to install packages manually allows the user to install packages that are not provided on FEED . The prerequisite for this is that the packages are stored either in the folders /tmpor in the folder . /media/usbThe folder /media/usbshould be used as a mount path for USB devices. This makes it possible to install plugins or other packages without an existing network connection.

How USB sticks /media/usbare mounted is explained in the help for the VTi device manager .

Zip or RAR archives (*.zip and *.rar) must first be unpacked on the PC! Then copy this file to the USB stick.

In principle, there are three options available for manually installing packages.

tar.gz installation: Archives in tar.gz format can be installed here (note: the tar.gz archive to be installed must have the correct folder structure of the package. It is not possible to install the drivers from the Vu+ website, for example, since the required folder structure is not available)
ipk installation: With this option packages can be installed in ipk format, files already installed by other packages will not be overwritten
extended ipk installation: With this option, packages in ipk format can be installed, files already installed by other packages will be overwritten. This option should only be used by experienced users, as it can cause unusable system states.

Background: There are two options for installing IPK packages. In principle, the opkg packaging system does not allow two files with the same name to be provided in the same path by two different packages. If an attempt is made to install a package that would overwrite existing files belonging to another package, the installation will be aborted. This behavior is suppressed by the extended IPK installation and the package is installed. However, this means that file X from package A is overwritten by file X from package B and the package system assigns file X to package B. Uninstalling package B will also delete file X which may result in an unusable system.

Instructions for activating the skin parts (especially for newcomers)

Below Menu button --> VTI --> Settings - CerXFHD Mod - Activate CerXFHD Mod with the OK button, yellow buttonare the skin parts that you can also activate, it is graded according to categories, only one skin part can be used for the respective screen be activated, e.g. either AEL ChannelSelection v1, or v2 or v3. Styles, fonts and the PrimeTime time can also be set in the same menu.

Pay attention to the preview images and the text underneath.
The GUI must be restarted after each skin part activation.
Don't do too much at once, there are already many skin parts included in the standard version.

The AEL main menu as well as the standard views for the Movie Wall, Prime/Series Start Planner have been integrated into the skin.

You can change the views in the respective views with the TXT button. Or select a start view in the menu,
there are different skin parts for these views, depending on taste, these must still be selected separately under AEL skin parts.
Both new AEL features, AEL Media Hub and AEL Channel List can be put on one shortcut with MultiQuickButton.

AEL skin parts:

For the AEL skin parts there is the "AEL" section under skin parts, there you will find the wall, lists, planners, channel lists, etc. There are preview images for each skin part where you can see what they do.
- After skin update to v.2.6.0, your previous skin parts need to be activated again.
- For backdrops skinparts in the TMdB plugin, the latest TMdB plugin must be installed from attached, not from the feed.
