OpenSkin Designer (OSD)

I was looking for a skin editor and there wasn't much here, so I looked around and found this. It is apparently based on e2skinner (which I never used...) and was updated last year, which is much more recent than anything else I found.

I installed (well just extracted the zip) and just started playing with it. It loaded a few skins without error and seems functional, but I haven't done much with it.

You don't need to use any program. Open it with Notepad and make the necessary edits.

However, if you want to make it easier, you can do it with OSD. It's very easy.

I installed this skin from the OpenAtv feed. I read this thread but I don't know what to install to display signal strength, ECM and weather. The installed version of the skin is OpenAtv Series 7, Metrixfhd - neo v6 for 7.5 / 7.6 version of the image. In the settings for additional screens for 1Infobar I checked to display ECM Info and Weather, but after restart there is no display in the skin. The image in the box is OpenAtv 7.6 Beta, DM800se. Thanks.

metrixfhd-neo V7.5.6 _v6.1 Update

For Series 7 devices, the update is ready and fully functional.

Although compatible with Series 8 Alpha as well, be aware that over time, as the interface evolves, some panels might stop working.

As for Series 8, please don't ask for further details just yet—it's still too early. We'll revisit this topic once it reaches the beta stage.

Update

No cover of album in HDFRadio plugin.

If you activate ECM info, you will receive ECM information.

You need to install OAweather for weather information.
