Sky renewal until 2029

In my opinion the only reason they have done this is to justify their ridiculous prices.
In a digital world there is no need for satellite tv. The annual cost of all these transponders is 100s of millions of pounds.
They could go fully digital, reduce all their costs, reduce consumer costs, and reduce the annoying 10 minutes adverts every 10 mins.
IPTV would die. We would have a competitive streaming market. The premier league and world wide football over inflated wages would collapse. And we all live happily ever after. -
I agree with you 💯

Until then, I will continue to write you iptv plugins. Legal iptv that is

Could I ask a question from KiddaC?
People think that the future of data is in the cloud (or in this case the sky). It's not. It’s in the ocean.
Dear KiddaC,
Could I ask a question?
How old are you?
You can ignore my question.
The amount of knowledge you have, shows some age but just want to know. Do not want to ask this question in public forum but no other option

ha ha...
I was fifty last thursday.

Another question
why do you help people? why are you developing free things for the public?
-
Why do I help people?
I help people because I was helped a lot in my early days. If I hadn’t received that help, I probably would have given up, and none of my work over the past 10 years would exist.
Helping someone costs nothing. Not everyone is tech-savvy or knows where to find answers. Many people on these forums are older and need guidance.
I won’t be around forever—in fact, I’m nearing retirement from the scene. The next generation of coders needs help, and in a few years, they’ll be the ones designing all the new plugins.
Why do I develop free things for the public?
In reality, I’m not developing things just for the public—I’m developing plugins for myself. I create plugins when I feel there’s nothing out there that meets my needs. Luckily for you, I share what I make.
The only plugins I have on my box, are mainly my own plugins. Which shows I design plugins for myself.
pasted-from-clipboard.pngI also do it to pass the time in the evenings as I rarely watch TV. I've been quite ill over the past three years, so this gives me something productive to do.
And it’s not entirely free—I have a voluntary beer/coffee fund. My plugins are used worldwide, and I do receive some contributions from that.

Yes, I was reading your posts when you was not well. We never know who's hands were up for your good health. No more question, all were answered before asking. I believe a lot of candles will lit from your candle.
