New user of OpenATV here. I've got a spare LNB port and am trying to set up an OpenATV (7.5, dont't shoot me) box using a ZGemma H2S to stream to a Kodi box. All works fine if I use the iptvremote plugin (v1.08) on the ZGemma and IPTV Simple Client on the Kodi box. I get all the channelsl in a bouquet I created, a full EPG, and can stream with no issue.
However, what I'm looking to do is have an extra PVR using TVHeadend on my Kodi box. For the life of me I haven't been able to get scanning an Automatic IPTV Network to work properly, nor have I been able to find step by step instructions guaranteed to work.
Has anyone cracked this?
When I create the network and hit a Force scan I get all the channels, one mux per channel, but no services.
My Kodi box is LibreElec 12.0.1; I've tried TVHeadend 4.3 and 4.2.
I am not sure that TVHeadend is the problem:
I tried to make a smaller exported bouquet to accelerate the scanning and, although the output of the playlist_http.m3u file was correct, output to TVHeadend (or a download) was truncated after a couple of lines:
#EXTM3U
#EXTVLCOPT--http-reconnect=true
I have no idea why. I've seen reference to a v1.09 version of iptvremote but don't know if it would resolve this. (My attempt to shorten the scan time resulted in a step backwards)
I've seen advice that I need to create each mux manually. Surely this can't be true?
I have seen references to other IPTV plugins but understand that they're for streaming content from the Internet, which is not what I want to do. Have I missed something?
