    Hi Lads,

    Silly Question maybe, BUT how do i STOP E-Channelizer from transfering the Logos?

    What setting do i implement to STOP the Editor from giving me the message Transfering Logos and Spinning wheel for an Hour.!!!!

  • Skin Support - Post questions for all my skins in here.

    Hi Kiddac, hope your keeping well.

    A couple of questions if i may, could you take a look at this Skin it has been modified by the Owner and supports all of the openPli images.

    I have his permission to Post on other Boards and so no problem here.

    Currently i am using the openPli 8.3 on a Octagon SF8008 Box. But am having a few issues with it being compatible above openATV 6.4 .

    All the others 6.5 - 7.0 - 7.2 crash the Box, any chance you could look at it and fix?

    I have attached it here below.

    Second issue is the picon in the above left corner of the "Channel Selection TV - user Bouquets Screen. They do not show up and i cant figure out why.

    What should the picon folder be called? and where to put it ? I have picon - piconSat and piconProv in ..../media/hdd/.......and they show up no problem.

    would be great if you could check and fix these two issues.

    Unfortunately ALL the PROSIEBENSAT.1 Channels which include

    SAT1 - PRO SIEBEN , PROSIEBENMaxx - KABEL EINS - PULS 4,24 - SIXX - WELT

    ALL on Astra 19e. DO NOT SHOW the piconPROV.

    Its in the List but does NOT work.:unhappy:


    Also on 13E in CANAL+ group - RTL-Tvi HD, Club-RTL, Plug-RTL, LaUneHD, Tipik, LaTrois

    in these Channels the piconPROV does NOT show.

    This morning the Sources were empty, NO scan was Automatically made at 06.13

    Installed EPGImporter again, Sources returned, DID a manual Scan...... see Pic Attached.

    Strange forces are in progress here, the manual Scan Actually finished without a Black Screen.!f5b7ea506cce14b7b2.jpg

    Even the same Sources setting and the same Groups; (Amiko Viper 4K openATV 6.4)


    Here the requested Debuglog have Edited it, deleted ALL Bouquets, IPTV and Radio

    @ KiddaC, AmikoViper 4K / OctagonSF8008 - openPli8 / openATV 6.3-6.4-6.5

    Yes it is saving my epg.data to /media/hdd/ the file is there I can see it.

    I Have already reformatted micro SDCard last week when I had the problem with attaching the external HDD on USB for recording.


    I have asked the skinner if he has time to test the Skin again on OE specifically openPli/openATV images and ARM Boxes.

    Does not look good cos he is really busy. BUT the Feed-back I'm getting about the Skin seems to be that its OK.

    HDF have taken it on board and ITS in the Extension Download Feed, so really it should be OK.


    The different/ various IPTV servers is because NOT ALL have what we require they have different content and Channels and they don't ALL work

    stable all the time. So to get what we want we have the Variety / Choice.

    I personally do not think IPTV is as good and stable as CCcam or Oscam Lines. Not to mention the NON available Audio Track Choice, and lousy EPG.

    I have a Super Fibre Internet connection with 300Mb, but BT constantly throttles this down to 145Mb..so really IPTV should be very stable especially

    with the added VPN.


    I dont want to bore everyone with this, I thought it was a simple fix and that's the end of it. BUT I see more and more are posting about the EPG issues.


    @ giopet, Thanks for your reply and suggestions. OK will do..I have now switched ON the Debuglog function and have done a Full-Restart on Box will see

    tomorrow what happens with the EPGImporter, if it Loads or NOT. If NOT I will make a manual Scan again. Then I can Post the Log result here. Great thanks

    Nice to see you here.:thumbup:

    I have tried with the Metrix Skin which is the default Skin in openATV BUT same.

    Yesterday I DID a clean install of EVERYTHING Image, Plugin etc....and this morning same thing NO Scan nothing loaded, picture on TV frozen.

    Maybe I have a Amiko Viper 4K Hardware problem, hope NOT, because its one month out of Guarantee.:unhappy:

    PS just ran another EPGImporter manual Scan today and now I have Slovenian EPG mixed with the German EPG..:whatthefuck:

    and the Box shuts down after gathering only 991134 events.

    Update,

    today I checked the EPGImporter to see if it loaded this morning and NO it had NOT.

    I then looked at the sources and there were NONE...totally blank...nothing NO IPTV,

    NO regular Sat Services,...nothing.!

    So uninstalled EPGImporter via Red Button and re-bootet Box.

    Installed again via Green Button and the sources were back.

    Tried a Scan to Load and after approx 443009 events were found then the Box shuts

    down, NO Crash, just shut down and restarts.:unhappy:


    I have attached the Skin its the "Turbo" Skin Modified to work on ALL OE by the Skinner.

    I am using the Octagon SF8008 and Amiko Viper4K - both Boxes openATV 6.4 and openATV6.5.

    JediMakerXtream is v.6.15 and EPGImporter is (1.0+git236) its the one in the Image Extension Feed

    If anyone has time to test and maybe we can simulate the same issue and find a solution. really Apprec.:thumbup:

    Yes my friend you are right, I have NOW seen that Line without =ts have corrected it, see attachment.


    Sorry, that was a Typo fault I HAVE installed the latest v.6.15


    ALL looks good now...will wait and see what happens tomorrow with EPGImporter if it loads ..!

    OK quick update, I have uninstalled ALL the JediMakers on ALL three Images in the 3 slots.

    Cleaned up uninstall and Installed the latest v.6.15 on ALL images and Slots. inserted the Lines and ran an Update.

    ALL looks GOOD and HAS installed without GREEN or BLUE Screens..Happy with that.


    Just have to do the same now with EPGImporter. The latest EPGImporter I have found is the v.210

    I have read to get the latest version Uninstall via "Remove Plugin"s, re-Boot and the latest versions loads into "Download Plugins"

    So will do just that als this little Tip..

    " openatv 6.4 yesterday and Jedi wouldn't update my epg. when i looked at it, epgimporter plugin wasn't there. I had to unistall JEDI, install EPGimporter,

    then install JEDI . only then did it all work."

    YES I did check to see if it was the last one. BUT this Storage system on the SF8008 is driving me nuts, HDD and USB which is which?

    I thought SDCard inserted gives /media/HDD/ as Storage pfad,,,and when Ext SDD connected this will be pfad to /media/USB /.

    BUT then Recording does NOT work,....,OK another problem to sort out.



    OK, uninstalled the last Jedi vers.5.32 again,

    Cleaned up and re-installed the latest ver. 6.15 on openPli 8,

    just running an EPGImporter Manual Import...... looks good so far.


    Will try the same for the opnATV 6.4 with ver.6.15 shortly will return with update.
