I could connect, just didn't know the password. I have managed to gain access by turning off http authentication via the plugin settings, which will do for now.
Will try that username and password later.

I still have the standard "Official Vu+" image loaded which I want to explore before loading a third party image so that I have a good under standing of the baseline. I will load other images later.
I'm trying to connect via http to the OpenWebInterface and I'm after the username and password for that..

I've got a new Vu+ Duo2 and downloaded the Manual from http://vuplus.com/downloadManual.html
However it is very sparse on details even essentials like default usernames and passwords.
Where are these documented?
There do seem to be lots of incorrect examples of passwords but none of the following work:
admin/admin, root/blank, root/password, root/dreamboxSome posts suggest it is shown in plugins but is not.

Ordered and received a Vu+ Duo2 from world of satellites and install a 2TB HD and standard flash image.

I'm looking for a new better STB, currently i own
- Eagle STB + 1 Meter Dish and Darkmotor.
- Humax + Freview dish
My desired features in order of importance are
- Full HD / 1080p
- Dual tuners
- PVR with large (or easily upgradable) HD
- Connects to my surround sound system
- Smart TV features, e.g. IPlayer etc.
- Easy flash images
- Connection to and streaming from my NAS
The box that catches my eye that seems fullfils these at a reasonable cost is the Vu+Duo
Questions
Are there any other features that I should really be thinking about?
I presume that with a dual tuner STB I can connect both dishes, my freeview dish to one and my motorised 1m to the other?
Assuming Vu+Duo2 is the best choice where should I buy in the UK
