I have Openbox S9 & S10 & a DM800 HD.

Channel 5 HD does not clear on any of the bosx's.
Does any body else have this problem ?
If its fine for others what freq have yous got it working on ?

A complete noob to the Dreambox.
Have been offer one for £140 with usb wifi stick at setup ready to go.
It says DVB800 on the front and the box is'nt black like most seem to be.

Are these any good ?

Is it just another clone & will be fine ?

Yes mate there set correctly.
What i need to know is WHY in the sat's list is it only showing 0.8 / 1w to 15w ?
Where are the rest of the sat's on the West ? And how can i add them ?

Hi all,

I have just setup a 1m dish & a TM-2600 motor with a Openbox.
Its pulling in about 11 sat's (only had a quick shot at it)
But in the Sat list its showing 3.0 to 75 E but only 0.8/1 to 15 W. Its on Usals not diseq 1.2
How can i get it to show the rest on the West ?
I'm NOT getting all on the East i mean no signal on 16, 26 and nothing after 28.2 but i think this might be a line of sight issue as i get 0.8/1 W then either 4 or 4.3 then nothing until 15 W. Its setup on a south facing wall about 3ft above a single storey extension (purely for ease of access for tweaking it) will have a proper look over the weekend, might have to move it higher up. I'am getting a signal strenght of 85/89 and quality 75/78 for most sat's / transponders.
Will i need to tweak my set up for better signal ?
Also when i set it up i set the lat on the motor but have just read on another forum someone mentioned the dish bracket angle ?(22/23) i have'nt set this, do i need to ?

All and any help / advice will be greatfully received.
This is the first time i have installed a dish.

The main thing thought is getting the missing sat's to the West.

I have a *** mini dish (zone 1) which i currantky run on a Openbox S9.
I know people have done this and was wondering what satellites i could pick up if i put a motor on it ?

you may also like to think about how it will be mounted eg-pole mount in the ground or t and k bracket pole mount on the side of your house.

Both setups look good vfm, will read up a liitle then see.
Prob sort the dish setup first and try it out with my openbox, then decide on which stb i'd like.
Will more than likely keep the openbox and sly dish setup on the main tv & set the motorised setup to my PJ.

I currently have an openbox s9 running off a old fixed *** dish. This was just to try out sat cs. Now i'am ready to try a motorised setup and possibly upgrade to a better stb.

Any how my question is : Can i use my *** dish and upgrade it with a motor ?

OR Would i be better with a complete NEW motorised setup ?

If the latter which would be the best one to go for ?

Desparatly need HELP.

I did this and uploaded the saved dump file and after the reboot my box is stuck on BOOT ?
Just hangs with boot on the display thats it no signal to tv.
Please help ?

How did you get setedit to save only a channel list and not a complete dump ?
As it only opens full dumps onff the openbox s9.

All goes well until i save the file.
It saves a full 4mb dump not just the channels list.
