Got another openbox x3 and loaded the latest firmware into the box, the same firmware that says stopped rebooting issues, tell the person who wrote it, I said rubbish, still goes into reboot mode. Simple, the box is rubbish, and the new x4 will be the same.

Ok, with the X3 rebooting problem on my box is solved since I have connected the box directly to my Thompson router with a ethernet cable. I have the box on a HH motorised system and done a manual search of channels from 45E to 0.8W and checked and switched channels and not once has the box rebooted.

I thought I'd try out the openbox x3 and after a couple of days it started continually rebooting, after searching the internet for fixes I found this is a common problem and there is no fix contrary to what you read, because I tried them all. obviously it's a problem with all the openbox models. If the manufacturers can't fix the problem after how many different models, my advice is is to avoid these boxes until a proper fix is offered by the manufacturer. You pay for something , you are entitled to expect it to work the way it say's on the box.
I have since found out on my X3 , the minute I disconnect the ethernet from the box the rebooting stops, so I am going to try the box with wifi. I don't think the power supply has anything to do with it.
So I have figured out that this box does not like wireless, If I connect the box directly to the router, rather than a bridge or wireless adapter the box does not reboot, and I tried all the firmwares for the original X3 no matter how long the box is on, the box stayed on and did not reboot on it's own. Maybe a solution to the rebooting problem. I still would buy another one until they fix these issues .
