Hi Guys I am over here in TullyC and using an amiko hd combo for sat and cable looking a 4K box can you recommend any thats not OTT price wise as got a 4K tv and want to hve a 4K box
The Vu uno 4k have a look at that , i've got the sat version and is lighting fast compared to my old amiko alien , i've just not got the best out of this yet , with kodi ect and the FBC tuners which i don't think i need atm .
My vu uno needed the box key before it would even reconize the card was there before i put it in , it kept giving error .
Are you using oscam for the ARM cpu?
Yes m8 i downloaded it from feeds there was only 2 options and tried both.

UPDATE: unlike my amiko oscam needs the box key to reconize the card , i tried a fake boxkey and it worked :) so have now added the right one and the premium all open :).

Hi guys i got the new box as my old amiko crapped itself , so the uno 4k arrived today and put my card in tried both ways but down seems the correct way and tried settings from the forum but getting this.

Any idea's ? Seems all vu's use the same readers so not sure whats going on i'm using vix and oscam r11279 .
Hi guys im using alien 2 as card reader but find it give me higher ecms than what my pc did with omnikey , so is there anyway to use omnikey on enigma 2 im using vix4project image.
Have you tried reflashing the image incase of errors or tried a different one?

Sorry for not replying, my head was starting to hurt, after having a break im once again attempting to get things how i want them, i want to use oscam for both my server and for my clients only, however for now im going from cccam to mgcamd and as far as i can tell its a lot more stable with less picture glitches but not all the channels clear and the next day it randomly switches itself off, requireing a restart on the softcam menu? why is this ? im going to do a fresh installon vix, can anyone advise where is the best place to download the softcams from any panels? because vix own feeds of cams don't seem stable, i have tried imajteam feeds also the same.

No need for 2 m8 1 is plenty , fair enough a second pc sitting just incase one craps itself is always a good idea but i'd set 1 up first and have it running mice then worry about a second.

I use the pre installed oscam and works 100% have used it as my card reader for a few weeks aswell when my card reader died .

I have s#y uk as local and have gathered up a few other sats with share , its mainly for epl and champions league and europa league in hd , again i don't mind the comms if it full hd quality.
I have an old 80cm or 100cm not excatly sure what size all i do know its an old sky analogue dish thats been up for years i had it set with new lnb few years back for 13e but hd was fully working then on everything so never used alot unless for a 3pm game i couldn't get .
Any decent sat installers here from N.I to give me advice as would even get a motorised setup if worth if .
Why not add a twin mono block lnb and have both ? or a motor and get a load more sats....

I'm getting my 80cm fixed dish sorted on monday , so whats the best 13e or 19e for footy in hd i'm not worried about the foreign comm's just looking hd really.

yes i have , but i updated it via the box , i use 0960 card though i'm for watching it on orginal box when it comes live as i'm paying for hd so might aswell use it :)
As above your oscam is ancient and would be the first thing i'd update as theirs been alot of fix's since then .
I have the red s#y cards working in oscam with bt sports hd , and espn and setanta and premier sports all on 1 card and the other card just the full package both paired too the new wifi s#y box
Display MoreId say stick with here for shares as it is strict on payservers meaning your prob more protected here sharing it in "VIP" section.
its always a caution in sharing if they have real cards or not as its so easy to fake it, but tbh not many people share via there "home" BB / server these days.
suppose could ask em to write date and username on paper and photo of card in server showing entitlements, but its all on your own choice who to share who not to share
also look at getting cache shares too it will help alot.
if you share 20 shares and they share back they also have "cached" ecms these can be reused so may as well share that too and they do same back helps reduce load rather than request local as it may well be sitting in cache anyways :)
Thanks alot for the great info , explantion seems good and has answered all my questions in one go . Yes have noticed i have small cache build up only small from 1-15 depending if my family is connected .
The vps i guess is more safer for anyone as its no giving out the home ip and leaves it safer for us in longterm.
How do i get vip access is it payment or do i need too contribute too forum?

If you have one card then share it with a peer with another card...
But obviously its always better if you have your own local card.
Yes i know the concept , but where do i look for reliable local cards home to home share no vps ect as most forum i see this is what they have i just want local-local from home setup without my card getting raped.
