Two ways to extract files from an ipk archive (in fact a debian installer) :
You enter a Linux system ( is like to explore a trash) and type "ar -x your_file.ipk"; if you are lucky you will find your files somewhere.
On Windows you install (http://www.filehorse.com/downl…-extractor/1376/download/) universal extractor (free).
