Quick Q for someone hopefully with more know how than me.........

Is there any way to restrict or filter the reshare on a NLine?

To help explain, I looked after a friend via C:Line for a long time and he very kindly now provided good NLine, fair's fair.
I would like to limit it's share via Cccam server.

Not so sure as to what I can and can't say,sorry if not the done thing!

Best described a long the lines of only wanting to share this new Nline with certain other / best/preferred peers.... Hope that makes sense? I have for example, one or two long time shares, that only give Hop2/3 and I would rather than local/hop1 peers get access to the new NLine I have.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Well done BTW! Sucess, works atreat with the exception of accessing via web interface.

Tried all sorts of playing with the conf file, different ports, etc etc. No joy what so ever? Got me beat at the moment...grrrr but not sure how I can;t access as I followed the tut to the letter and everything else is working fine?
I'm a little rusty with the dreambox, which may explain things. I'm looking to pass this to a friend with oscam functioning...... just as well I tried before trying to talk my pal through this :)

ANy ideas what so ever, would be appreciated.

oscam.conf file for the moment is here /var/tuxbox/config/ set to 755. I used this oscam file 'oscam-svn6602-powerpc-tuxbox-old-webif-Distribution'

Absolutely beat at the mo? Would you need the server file to access webif? Not looked at that yet.

The only way I've managed to keep other sat scans is to save other sat scans as faves within setedit, click on your fav and then hit export. Once you open up say this slyuk channel list within setedit, you can go to a blank fav group and import your previously saved fav groups for any other sat! I have hotbird as an example saved as a fav and use this more than I do the zoom/sat list button.

Well stumped ! I actually went and added the few missing channels to fix this and when I then uploaded the new TPS, I get the same now??? Baffled ! I tried again with the abs file, factory reset etc. Now my own channel list is playing up for me to?? I'm going to try again this morning a few ideas, but if anyone has any thoughts, I'd love to hear of them...

errr?? Not sure if talking about the subs channels would be appreciated if talked over openly? I think I will let someone else answer, sorry ! Just being mindful of not taking the conversation down a route that would be frowned on.

Thought I'd post up my 3pm match channel list. (Good for any other times /days obviously, but all Football related)
Simply sorted a-z for the following Sats -

Astra 4 - Viasat Chnls
Hotbird 13 -JSC, Calcio & N*** etc
Eutel 16 - Supersport, Tring & SportClub
Astra 19 - C+, Canal & *** Sports etc
Thor 1 - Digi Sport, Canal & TV etc
Sly uk in there too but not sorted as such.
Maybe of use to someone? I simply took out everything from my scan and only kept in channels that I reliably get footie from.
The rest was not needed as this system is out the back room for me and the footie, no one else touched this set-up.

UPDATE (PLEASE BACKUP YOUR SETTINGS BEFORE TRYING) This is hit and miss for some reason though I'm working on it. This took me three times to get it working. I did in the end, but something is not right? Found the issue? For some reason, the TP info has been changed? When I rescan channels, they clear fine and are on diff TP info. Think I can fix this now, bear with me.

My apologies first stab. Schoolboy error resulted in me saving part of the first one to usb and then part to HD, which resulted in a mess.
Now corrected!
Full SLY EPG Numbering will work for both Fav List 1 "All Channels" and also by using The sat/zoom button and picking ***. This will let you zap to 401 *** Sports 1. 501 *** Sports News etc.
Fav lists are exactly the same as the current *** HD EPG/line up. You will need to rename via remote.
FAV1 All Channels
2 - HD
3 - ENT
4 - LIFE
5 - MOVIES
6 - SPORTS
7- NEWS
8 - DOCS
9 - KIDS
10 - MUSIC
11 - SHOP
12 - RELIG
13 - INT
14 - GAMING
15 - SPEC
16 - ADULT
17 - STREAMS / FEEDS
18 - TERR REGIONALS

Scan completed on Wed so all TP info up to date.
Completed on S11, full 4mb dump HDS2 dump.abs was with FW
Openbox S10 HD PVR Software(2011-9-14) NEW!

Alternatively the smaller TP_PROG.dbs is also attached.

This time, fingers crossed it is accurate, however I noticed I'm now needing to either play with some TP's or peak my dish as I missed a few channels out when scanning.
The missin Channels are as follows - you can simply find the TP and scfan them in and put them in the right place via the remote. 10 min job as there is only a few. I used streams in place of the missing chans -

Prem sports Xtra
Primetime
Cinemoi
& A Few Adults.....
All in order, even took the time to do Gaming/Specialist etc, but there are no INTERNATIONALS as Favs as such. Sorry, really could not be bothered even looking at them as they are not touched by me.

Well done for the up, juts need a good one for 4.8 which will be easy as it's pretty much only Via - Hotbird and Eutel in hand :)

Juts a thought, but I think we could do with adding Openbox S11 and S12 sections within the Openbox area.
I know they are all effectively the same, but I feel we are maybe not quite tapping into the the market so to speak....

For the sake of adding two new sections to the site, I know people will start to use and I have no doubts that the community will respond.

Just my thoughts, but I do feel its worthwhile..

Even if simply tweaking the title to inculde S11/S12 as that is pretty much what you get if buying Openbox now.

Hope this adds to the community.

If Carling Made Channel Lists.... 01/12 Sly Channel List with Full EPG Numbering !
This is a bang up to date as of today 22nd Jan, 2012. WITH *** EPG NUMBERING THAT WORKS FOR ZAPPING / CHANNEL CHANGING!
95% complete. I will finish this within a day or two, but it's more than ready to go, hence to post.
I have skipped out HD as a Fav for the moment as I personall see it as a waste of the limited Fav groups, you can edit to suit though.

I think you will enjoy the *** EPG numbering as per Sly Box
i.e hit 106 - go to *** one, hit 401, go to *** Sports 1 etc.
This has taken plenty of time to do and as mentioned, it does need a little tweaking, but as a rule, I know it's one of the best out there as after trying plenty, I decided to do my own....

I will continue to group other channels as favourties - i,e International as 9, Shopping as 10 etc and then you can move the groups to suit on the nest update, but the all important SLY epg numbers will be correct to help.

At the moment, I have the Fav groups as follows. (Again, I will update this to better follow the HD Channel Groups soon)

Could someone with a little more knowhow than me help clear up some confusion on my part please.
I've searched this plenty before deciding I'm none the wiser -

What Openbox FW is interchangeable with other units - i.e S9 works with S10, S11 or S10 works S10/11 but not S9 etc.

I'm trying to shift a motor with a S11 unit and it reboots when stepping east/west. Motor is def fine.
To get around this, I'm going to try FW, but I'm genuinely a little unsure as to what one to go for on this S11. I did see some motor fix mention for S10 firmware in a changelog. so wonder if this is the way forward?

Either way, is someone could help with the most recent suitable FW for the S11 I would be most grateful > Or if they can get around the reboot when moving the motor ;)

Tried to look after me old mum, sent up one of the kids old 500s's as I put in a openbox s10 for them. Made sure that i took off my old static ip address from my set-up, changed it over to dhcp and even went as far as changing the regional variations etc etc.
Bless, my mother managed to connect it all up last night with me on the phone, but no subs channels are clearing? I kept looking at my cccaminfo.php and could not see her as active client. The cline on the box is definately working and should be going straight to my server box at my house?

Gave up after getting even more grey hair and then tried tonight again using teamviewer.

I managed to access her BT home hub and could see the DB ok with the ipaddress. I then used the web access to check the network / coms settings and all looked ok - nameserver, gateway and ip etc. Made sure cccam was running, everything I could think of. It's a nabilo image on the DB and when looking at cccaminfo the two lines i put on are offline / red dot.

I genuinely expected it to work out of the box and everything is ok as far as I can see. Was able to ftp to check cline, all ok again.

I'm looking more toward the actual router/network as it's the only thin i think is left to rule out, but I'm not familiar with BT or the homehub. Oh, on the laptop i connected to, there was also norton apps everywhere - internet security, network security and anitvirus etc. No sure if that make any difference?

I appreciate I've not offered up a great deal, but It's hard to get much more at the moment.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions or info on homehub/norton, I'd be truly greatful for any comments.

Everyone has to start somewhere! I've just jumped on this forum as at first glance, it looked a good community. You don't necessarily need to have a local to get going, I'll point you in the right direction. Literally loads of no local / free exchange offers out there....
Your hardest battle will be getting decent reshares.... once you have that and it's hard but doable, you are effectively giving in return.
You will get exhanges, but I think your reshares will be limited to start with, which IMHO is what you need to get going.

I now don't have a local card, but have rock solid server running pretty much 24/7, most sats on the european footprint are available.
Once you get up and running, a return c:line would be appreciated.
