only today for the 1st time a friend brought me his solo as the image had
screwed up, so i turn it no picture for 10mins then all ok
re-flashed it no picture for a few mins the in b&w then colour
then ok.. if you leave it on it runs ok..thermally intermittent normally
its the other way round, when hot/warm Hmm unusual LOL
ps. i always but a fan on these cpu's as they tend to get very hot!! -
Bear in mind if set the sat say for 19' well the 13' lnb will be opposite way as it were in the arc
eg if look from the front of dish the 28 will be on the left so 13' will be on the right LOL -
if you have a vu there a siganl strength plugin available
I used it on the old solo and duo and found it good quite accurate -
Hi thatfellow maybe i should posted this before But when i am installing
any version of ubuntu server at the start when it reading type hdd/partitions,
And so on Ethernet ports/ect ect then it ipv6, then it start to look at and
detecting local port, I whip out the lan cable(rj45) or whatever you want
to call it. wait and it give you the choice to enter, your own IP Address
plug back in cable,
Enter your ip/router/netmask/nameserver
job done..no router bullsiht, I find this a bit easier ... ANNIE -
the cpu tends to hot to very hot thats normal with a vu duo/solo2
if it stays cold your fcked
try buttin back the image you had in it or an original vix image LOL -
unfortunately the way TSpanel installs and overwrites system files means that not even that is a sure fire and safe way to progress, you can never fully remove TSpanel unless you perform a full reflash and then trawl the HDD for the hidden self install files. you may still suffer problems down the road with things like Timeshift and HDD / USB mounts etc.
as for installing .IPK files there is a build in installer in the ViX image that detects content on newly inserted USB media allowing for installing files without needing FTP access.
hi pheonix
taken that on board and kinda guessed it might leave some traces on image/hdd
but at least it save a lot of hassle and going through forums, internet, myback
files ect well at least on the pli it worked it took me a small while to figure out
why it was crashing, and i like the simplicity of the image LOL -
as you have just found out and as previously mentioned ,, TS panel isnt compatible with openpli based images..
check in extensions to see if the folder is there..
if not, you just have to reinstall it if you really do want to use it..
Hi Caz i installed it got cams ect then deleted it a a handy and easy way out
how i knew about incompatibility was when you press setup you get the green
screen of death,
this was on the open-pli 3.0 (solo2)
maybe this might work on other images ? -
Install the the tspanel plugin/extension, you will then be able to install just about all the cams
channel list ect... you will get all you need this LOL -
All its short is a line cline in var/keys edit cccamd.list
and input your cline, its the 1.36 version
this image is more or less the same as the CCcam version
but with mgcamd instead also note is for a cline not nline
and its for client use, not server..
Done as i note not many images are available with mgcamd
TO FLASH: using telnet
cd /tmp && eraseall /dev/mtd/3 && cp backup_mgcamd.img /dev/mtd/3 && rebootOr use dreamup
The PASS=commando
LOL ...Annie
PS. this is for members who want to try different cams -
I remember now the lnb's were causing me hassle over the thickness
i had some apls (skinny ones) the the gain was high so i opted for standard
duals .1db ps.. have a motor connected to 1 of the tuners with a twin LOL -
could not have said better myself nano,
1 thing i might give a bit of taught to i have an 80cm
dish with 3 lnbs but i aligned it with 13' center with 28' and 19'
@ other ends. and i had to skew/gink the 28' a lot as it was 15' from center
so i taught i might mention it, take your time you will get it right..Annie -
how many discq switch's have you and how many lnbs
its very easy if your not using more than 4 on any 1 rec.
did you get quad lnbs?? -
hI lads here is new version of oscam64 bit with pcsc (omnikey)
