Make sure the center is positive (+) 12v. and as far as amps your rec. will use what it needs most dm's use less than 1a amp single lnb and up to 2a using motor..so a 3amp + will just let the psu run cooler thus last longer

Just to eliminate things did you try phono sockets?

no any 12volt regulated supply with 2amp + should do even a ext.hdd psu..

Thanks for that m8 ..but remember in recent years (switch mode) PSU's increased there temp rating on caps to try and overcome this. lol

worth looking in to yes , are they new out ?? (i wont ask 15 of em!) remember a tower has plenty space, where as a sat rec. has not..r they pricey???

May be of intrest to duo users if you intend to but an internal hdd into 1 of these bear in mind the extra heat you will create especially there are a few small capacitors very near the hdd the more heat gets to these, it will shorten the life of the P.S.U. As these are on the feedback/opto section..After many years of working with psu's on tv,sat,video, ect..the cooler they live they longer they last..as the manufacturer is not going to tell you this,,just sell you a new one

Any one now why ccCam info on the vix.images so bad eg..clients/ ecm info ect..seems to work better when not being used as a server,(i am compare this to a dm500 several images e1) maybe i set it up wrong/or at all...thanks in advance ?? ps..using a solo

Anyone able to help with above image master g back up all ok. but epg dont seem to able to get it right,,maybe its not as good as vix2 ??? (ps the master g image has the cam built in exe..****)

Tried backup blackbird excellent..went back to vix2 as to used of it now thanks (no problem with ccCam ect..)

After going through several dm500's had 1 that used to do the same...but unplug it for a while then ok..i believe (as its known about 2 capacitors on the Ethernet circuit dries up) maybe ????
