I've been running IPTV on my Dreambox for a couple weeks now and I seem to get a lot of freezing to the point of having to restart the whole unit, unable to change channels or do anything unless I restart the box. Anyone had any similar issues if this could be a hardware issue more than anything else.

I'm now using openatv-6.0-sim2-dm800se-20170223-Houara.nfi on my DM800se and I have got the EPG working using E-channelizer, there are a few youtube tutorials that explain the process. I haven't managed to work out if it's possible to record IPTV.

Okay so I just need to add a usb stick them ? I've got a few of those. I just read that maybe I should use enigma2-plugin-extensions-pluginskinmover instead of flashexpander, would that be a better alternative?

I've flashed the BlackHole-3.1.0C-sim2-DM800se-20161013-Houara.nfi image to my box as it's IPTV compatible. The problem is that when I set everything up and if I restart the box it will just keep looping at startup resulting in having to flash the box again. This is about the fifth to sixth time doing this, so enabling auto epg download is no applicable. I also tried another image which done exactly the same thing: openatv-6.0-sim2-dm800se-20170223-Houara.nfi

Ive read that it could be a psu issue and I have multiple psu's which i've tried and the same results. My previous image which was Nemisis never had the same issue but that does not play M3U.

Are there any Enigma2 images for the DM800se clone that are not buggy that plays IPTV ?

What is the best or at least the most reliable image to use to play m3u on a dreambox?

I've tried a couple and even though I can load the m3u to the bouquet the channels will not play. One of the images was OpenPli as I heard this would be the best image to go for to play IPTV.

I installed this image on my DM800se to allow me to use M3U and it worked fine the first time, played the channels, but when I turned the box for a few hours and turn it back on it was just frozen on the boot screen so I ended up reflashing the box again but now even though it show the channel in the bouquet nothing happens when you click on a channels.

Im pretty sure I didn't have to install any plugins previously when it was working but now the image doesn't want to work with IPTV.

I tried another image: BlackHole-3.1.0C-sim2-DM800se-20161013 & it was exactly the same, showed the channels but again nothing happened when clicking on the channels. I checked my internet connection was working on the box which it was. I used Esetting+ to add the M3U to the DM800se.

Is there a good working image for the DM800se that will play M3U without any issues, or is there a plugin that I overlooked that needs to be installed on either of these two images?

So what it is I have the DM 800se clone and it's always had the same image on it NEMESIS Enigma 2. I don't know a great deal about images which is why I just stuck with what worked for the last 8+ years, 'If it isn't broken and all that'. Well with most of the channels gone I heard about IPTV and got it on my firestick & smart TV, but I also heard that you can also get IPTV on the dreambox as long as you have a compatible image that can stream m3u. So I have a couple of questions.

What is the best image to use for the dreambox that plays m3u & is there one that might include kodi just out of interest? I've read that OpenPLi images are the best one's.

Also if anyone currently has this on their box are you able to get EPG and also record channels?

Yeah I'll leave it as everything is working fine so no need for unnecessary plugins to give me that green screen.

What are you on about no please or thank you, in my country we say thank you after an attempt as been made to assist big or small. I have seen where people may had a 'thanks' at the end of a initial post but that is by no means the general rule of thumb as we are very civilise in the uk and would normally show appreciation to people who assist or at least try to assist with a query. I'm still scratching my head to why you felt the need to respond if that's all you had to say!

Are the EPG's no longer supporting images like Nemesis ? I've been using this image for a while and it's only been the last week or so the Epg is longer showing programme synopsis.

I ended up trying out a few new images but had to revert back to Nemesis as I was unable to add plugins, TSpanel and also with 2 images I couldn't turn off the subtitles.

Is there a good image that will install the normal plugins and is CCcam compatible that will allow EPG to work ?

This is a great looking image but are we able to install Cccam and Tspanels on this image? Also how do you turn of the subtitles ? :57:
