  • OSCAM compiled for android and tested with amiko a5 combo

    does it work fine with powervu ??? or do I still need to use MCAS?

    I full understand that sometimes it requires time to have all the setting I requested sort it out, but once you add it to your apk, your apk will be unique because no one as of today has those settings, trust me, I have tested almost everyone under the play store and some of them that aren't.

    well I haven’t use either an USB HDD or internal for more than a year... every option I normally watch on TV are available right now online...

    what I worry more is the internal space and what I see so far, 16gb should be enough...

    but at the end, it depends on what you do with your boxes.

    forget about it, OSCAM under android is what it is, I
    even team up with other team member here to find a solution and we got stuck in
    a dead end... bottom line, don't waste your time with it unless you have the
    source code of eonTV.apk     or work for vivant/dinobot

    don't lie, tell the true, the best support comes under Enigma 2 only, and this is what Mr. Zhao CEO of Vivant and Dinobot told me: "Test already released for U5mini but that is it. We will skip 8 and start 9 soon"


    they are not going to fix anything we have always report to them for android...


    and hoenstly at this point I would wait until Jan 20th when Dreambox launches the Dreambox One...


    or I would buy a Sony TV with Android and get an E2 box from china...

    Amiko-> uses a version build for tablet which will not let you use Netflix UHD, however the user interface is a lot better than the one from Dinobot


    Dinobot -> full android tv experience but the OSCAM sucks balls, and cannot be updated, you can run every apk designed for android with any problem, don't go with the Dinobot 4k + because the storage is very limited.


    Enigma 2:


    Dinobot is faster and better as of today, can't tell if Amiko will improve tomorrow
