The bottom line is that for the UK, you must use oscam-binary with the UK icam patch.

We are going around in circles.
A newer binary has been released. Get the oscam binary that Samur uploaded for your receiver and replace the oscam binary on your receiver, ensuring names match.
If you don't want to do that, wait for the "all in one" ipk that this forum uploads. ATV users can also wait for the one to be added onto the not so secret feed .

You really don't need the latest one, the one in post 1 is good enough. You have not mentioned whichc receiver and which image and image version you are using
Samur is the only person building and sharing versions with the UK patch. He has uploaded his version of 11726 which has the UK patch. You will need to search this section of forum: OSCam-EMU
Then rename/modify scripts etc. An all in one ipk for Samur's 11726 version is being worked on so people do not have to do script/rename changes. Hopefully people will wait a few days before adding to other forums just in case there are issues.

For UK users, if you are using the following images and newer, ABM will update the file for you
OpenATV 7.3 (3rd December and newer)
OpenViX 6.4 010
OpenBlackhole 5.3 014
OpenPLi Nightly/Developer (10th December and newer)
This is in addition to using the remote to mark a channel to use stream relay

Subject to having an image that has the changes, the UK one works the same way. In terms of bouquets, the Italian one is the same. But there are other factors involved.
There is another thread with a script to fetch the file.
ABM also updates/maintains the whitelist file for the UK.

samur, thanks for the updated binaries. Do you have any objection to adding these to plugin feeds that some images use? Somebody else suggested a name like:

Most images have recently added changes to show signal levels/details of stream relay channels. To benefit from them, you will have to update your image. Official OpenPLI users will have to use developer image.
For UK users, ABM also updates the stream relay whitelist too.

The ipk should install the correct binary for your receiver, there should be no user intervention required. If you go down the binary route, you have to start renaming files, giving them correct permissions, modifying scripts etc, so I would rather we looked at issues with the ipk. What error/occur when you install the ipk? Please post back the telnet/terminal output.

I am pretty sure the Golden Interstar Xpeed LX3 from the same OEM had HDMI recording working. Please try ATV and report back.
Do you have a link to the patch? I am sure Captain will be able to add it if required.

Going by the other thread, it might be the drivers have an issue. Can you try Openatv image?

He has asked on OpenPLi, they don't build the image for this receiver.
Was opkg on the image when you installed the image? If it was, would be an idea to flash it again. Or try an image with a plugin server for the receiver.

If you want blindscan
or multistream, you will need the PNP tuner. Not the on-board/soldered FBC tuner unit. -
Try several of them and select the one you feel most comfortable with.

This thread is about version that also supports UK and Italy. Samur is only person building for them and sharing
Mohammed_OS version does not have the UK/It patch. Your referral is therefore not helpful. In any case, the German patch has been applied upstream now. Hopefully Mohammed_OS will add his tweaks upstream if he wants.
