The Russian opposition radio station Echo Moskvy, whose operations in Russia were banned in March 2022 due to content critical of the Kremlin, especially regarding the Russian attack on Ukraine, started broadcasting from the Astra 4A satellite (4.8°E).

Austrian ATV informs about the suspension of SD distribution
An interesting fact is that in ATV's information materials there is no specific date for the end of SD distribution of this station. The same date chosen by ORF for the transition to HD broadcasting is taken into account - December 4, 2023.
