I will be very interested in any answers to your questions! I too have a similar if smaller setup that I want to modernise, three existing dishes, two with Quattro LNBs which I would like to redeploy using the multiple LNBs on each dish. I haven't figured out what to do yet but I'll certainly share any findings.

Not an easy issue to solve on a satellite receiver. In general Linux terms you could achieve this with permissions but for permissions to work you would have to have different user IDs for the people you wanted to grant access to and those you didn't. I don't think its feasible in this situation.

Does anyone know if there is an image for the Zgemma H7 that supports Picture-in-picture? Apart from that function I find that set is very very good all round and has excellent reception capabilities. I am presently running "egami 9.0.0" on it.
