thanks, much appreciate :) I've inadvertently blanked out userdb, and no can't reload my channel list. Is it possible to get a userdb for typical irish channels? downloadable for a quick fix?

Looking to upgrade firmware on my Ariva 150. New member, and have seen some interesting posts.
Was wondering what the benefits of upgrading with a patched firmware are? What specific benefits. Am technically proficient, and am very familiar with Rooting android phones, Iphone jailbreaking, and installing software/hardware/firmware on all manor of pc components. Any help is appreciated :)
Addionally, would like to know how to upgrade the firmware, specifically. Have downloaded the 150 rar, but don't see any specific instructions on what to do.
