  • Sky about to launch its Ultra-HD 'SkyQ' box

    just reading online news Things are heating up in the tech world. BT recently launched an Ultra-HD box and now Sky appear to be readying to launch their own.


    “SkyQ” could be just weeks away from your living room, according to The Telegraph, and will reportedly allow viewers to watch or record at least four programmes at once. We’re not quite sure how you go about watching four programmes at once, but it would be nice to have the option, especially given the 4K quality.


    Because of the viewing shift to smaller screens, Sky will also offer broadcasts on mobile and tablets, much like the EE TV box.




    Reports say Sky’s new Ultra-HD set-top box was initially scheduled for release next year, but with their rivals BT already making ground on Sky with football coverage, they appear to have made a decision to speed it up.


    They may already have one advantage over BT even before the launch though, with BT executives acknowledging the YouView technology they use for their pay-TV service is out of date. Sky are hoping they’ll have the technological advantage of a more user-friendly interface, which is reported to look like Netflix or Apple TV.


    We suspect we’ll see a bit more from Sky regarding SkyQ as the Premier League season gets a bit closer. They’re definitely not ones to miss a marketing opportunity. what happens next

    did blue blue divece manager wd is mounted says media/hdd time shift working fine as i said in dcc i go to movies in media see the movies but not on hdd i left vix for while try bh looks like might have go back to that image to see my movies

    hi guys just noticed yestereday i went to play a move i put on the vu+duo2 my self as in mkv movies avi movies ect box sets ect carry on only fools horses box sets tryed open black hole didnt like it so went bcak bh 2.1.7 and noticed the movies were all gone othe tv programs i recorded are there went on to dcc media hd and the movies r there so did reflash bh 2.1.7 still not showing up any ideas guys

  • boquet issue

    guys i found about 8 adult channels about a month ago i saved them to my bouquet now i had my fav channels that i watch with the file from ts media in my boquet so i did a rats bouquet download all channels appeared and ts media boquet gone but i have it save with my other channels so iopened up the bouquet file seen ts media bouquet copyied past it into new folder with new tv list but dont show up any ideas thanks

    all good info guys i have upc cable here in ireland why i leave it off is when i went into router one day could see my vu+duo2 showing up in the router so i turned off dhcp and next day it disappered from the dhcp client list my pc was showwing me and the other halfs phones were showing and my wd media player but my box disappered so did that mean my cable provider couldnt see i had vu+duo2 connect to internet,and if it off does it affect cccams or mgcamd cams cheers

    guys having problems trying install plugins some skins too try install mediaportal says opkg_install_cmd cannot installpackage enigma2 plugin extensions same happens whe i try load ipk skins too i am using vix hades 005 went back to apollo 166 and same happens there too any ideas thanks
