I have been asked to set up an server for a friend that he will run with some of his friends
The goal here is to get a jitter&lagg free watching. Therefor i will run 2 servers for redundancy.

Hardware for the first server will be.
1x stand alone pc with Dedian6
    2x readers smargos

Id like to run it with the same setup as I have @ home
    ip1 newcs/csp >| cache link |< ip2 newcs/csp - but cant see that happening with smargo's
had a battle with them few nights ago but no stability under newcs whatsoever.

Also I've read around that the USB readers can change device (id?) during a restart witch
would cause the server not finding the reader or have I gotten this wrong if this is the
case is there a fix for this when using smargo readers?

So the actual question is, What kind of readers to use.
Smargo usb - non working with newcs?
    Omnikey usb
Multipro serial - expensive but works flawless with newcs

Currently I use a multiLNB solution mainly because of the channel swapping that would accour becouse of the way my channel lists are made
Sure this could be some how sorted by making lists by satellites close or even at the same sat. But i categorize my channels by other means so
there for I choose the multiLNB
My dish is a T90 with 8lnb's and I have the 1sec channel change time , with an motor setup changing channel from 0,8w to 28,2e naa not for me ,

For the clones , ppl claim to have problem with em , I'm very pleased with my 800se clone no fuzz what so ever , tho one need to be a bit careful what
image to flash it with and not pick the wrong ones , but this is cleared quite clearly if not sure one could always ask.

Ow so there is an S11 also , need to compare them two a bit before deciding

An S10 is a pretty much simple to use closed sourced box!

So they are much like the dm100 boxes then not that much to play around with
which also keeps it simple in the terms of them non wanted features.
Like what I heard so far

    Hello peps .

Christmas is coming and my son had plans to be enable to watch TV in his room rather
than try to book some time to a already hard occupied 800se in the livingroom.

So I have come to a crosspoint and wonder if there is some1 out there that has a bit of
experience with S10 boxes. Should I get one or keep away from 'em?
I hardly care for any of the "multimediaportalcandoanything" functions just plain TV watching
and working subs would do more than enough.

I could always get a second DM but rather get me something else to learn how to use.

Seen that page somewhere before think that you have connected with telnet straight to the box and not to the image
you are running , which image did you flash your box with ?

those blued out's are my saved connections so I don't have to enter them when connecting to them ever so often , thought I'd
save the internet with that kind of information , ever tho they only are my local's
