    ...please anybody...someone somewhere must know the answers to some of my questions (below):-


    Please forgive my ignorance, as i know nothing yet about a receiver that i'm planning on buying!


    The receiver is a Clarke Tech ET 9000 HD Enigma2 (500GB Harddrive), which has conax inbedded.


    My questions are:-


    1. How is this receiver correctly flashed to get EMU running (to open additional channels), as was possible with SAMSUNG DSR9500.


    Is there a step-by-step (for dummies!) guide for flashing this box?


    What program is used, and how are files transferred from pc to receiver.... is this done through an ethernet cable connected to router?


    2. Which are the best types of files to open additional channels for this receiver....are these 'Softcam', for example, and if so, how are they uploaded from pc to receiver?


    3. Can a USB stick be used (instead of an ethernet cable to router) to upload files etc to the receiver?


    4. As this is a HD receiver, will it work with a Plasma TV that is ONLY HD READY?



    5. My current Home Theatre system is connected to my old (to be replaced) Samsung DSR9500 box by optical SP/DIF cable i think it's called.


    Can someone please tell me what the optical input on this receiver is called, as i've seen 2 different types of optical cable, and want to be sure i can connected this receiver to my surround system.


    6. What is the program used to save channel lists to my pc for this receiver?



    7.Do i have to upload a boot-loader in order to run softcam files first & flash box?


    I'd really appreciate some step-by-step instructions, for a beginner, on how to upload firmware/files etc to a Clarke Teech ET 9000HD receiver (and what cables are needed).
