because if this guide describes how to multiboot, in sd card, than it is an old guide and a few things has changed...
also, the blackhole image, isn't official, and also (if i am not wrong ) is in old kernel ( and there is a kind of uncombatibility between old and new kernel images)

προς το παρων, βαλε και ασε το 20/5 ...
το γμτ ειναι οτι ο driver ανεβηκε 11/8 και μεχρι τοτε αν προλαβαινες να κανεις ενημερωση, θα ειχαν ερθει καποια fix...
also... a programm like "advanced ip scanner" could be useful for situations like that (searching the ip of a device...)

i am using the vu+ player app , but not in a vu+ receiver (any more). there is an "signal meter" option, which shows db in all my receiver, but i do not remeber what happened in the past to my vu+ .
but... if it works in other receivers, and not in vu+, i think that there isn't a solution, and the "fail" is in the receiver...

about the sf8008 and sx88... it is not so simple.
they do not load the sx88 firmware to the sf8008...
but they did a new modified software (they build) ,based in the sx88 software, but for the sf8008...

απλα κλεινει?η χτυπαει και κανα crash ταυτοχρονα? (δηλαδη μηπως αφηνει καποιο crashlog).
επισης...(εψαξα το μυνημα, αλλα δεν το βρηκα) πριν καποιο καιρο, υπηρχε μια ιδια περιπτωση με δεκτη (αν δεν κανω λαθος) vu+ , που επισης ο φιλος ειχε δοκιμασει με αλλο τροφοδοτικο (και μαλιστα θεωρητικα με περισσοτερα Amper) , που τελικα και το δευτερο ειχε θεμα.
το βρηκα... αυτο κρασαριζε σε αλλαγη tuner

as there is the multiboot option in the receiver, you can install it in another slot of your receiver (without loosing your excisting image) , and test it if it works well and if it has the things that you want from an image...! if not you just return in your active one.
there are a lot of expensive (in the past) receivers, which can't work powervu without stream relay...
an example is the oldest vu+ ultimo, which cost (in his "pick") arround 500+ euro (and the vu+ name behind this)..., i think all the xtrend models (8000 and 10000 also costs a lot), i don't know the latest gigablue models, but for sure the oldest models does not work...and many others...
