the original thread title mentions hdtv500s2v8 and hdtv800s2v8,yet I can't find any info on the net about those receivers except in threads about this firmware.

They actually meant hdtv v8 800s2 hd,which was an old s9 type receiver.

How many are saying that this firmware is not good, you can not add Satellite, you can not add channels, etc ...
I removed the files from dowload, then the above links no longer work.

I dont recommend this firmware.
Many people brick the box by updating tp list.
Use it at your own risk, but you are warned.
I'm using it on my S9 clone from 01/02/2012 and has not brick.
I am a beta tester of the anonymouSX, tested the Blue GUI, I tried Red GUI., But there is only this box to clone, who has an original yojia, you can use the S10 of the day which is 13/12/2011 only locks the same clone.

1-Ensure that your s10 is actually connected to the network, use the STBHD_LAN_MM to test.
2-Ensure that the line N in the client configuration is checked, if not check it, save and reboot.
3-Change to DHCP on and apply online or if you switch to OFF and apply some firmware 2010 has problems to authenticate the server, but this firmware is only set up Mgcamd works.
4-If your receiver is a clone, use a modified firmware of the AnonymouSX or the day 31/07/2011.

HDTV 500S2v8, HDTV 800S2v8, S9, S10, S11 AND S12 are the same internal.
techno, you can use the anonymoUS this or anything other than not blocking the clone, the day is a good ***box 17/07/2011 or 31/07/2011.
01/08/2012 day will provide the S10 day 13/12/2011 which is the same yojia S9 Abril/2012 , or by a still beta anony ...
