I have a combo and have installed AMIKO_MiniHD_Combo_1.2.96_emu and ran that ok, I have done a blind scan and found over 500 channel's, however I have read that I need to install AMIKO_MiniHD_Combo_1.2.96_mcas.abs.
As everything seems to be heading in the right direction, what is the piece of software and what does it do?

is there a Wigan channel list, ive done a scan for channels using my friends settings who in manchester and loads are missing, mostly HD channels, however the box tells me that the LCN has changed, so I do another scan, i find some HD channels, then I lose some more?.
Plus does anybody have correct settings for wigan, or are the Manchester settings ok.

hmm, ok guys, mine is bricked as well, only showing the boot screen and then asking for orginal software, I have downloaded the boot loader and software, however i do not have a serial port on my pc, i am useing a usb adapter, with the supplied rs232 lead, however on the toolbox software i click through to load the f/w and the screen displays "test serial port status" and never moves further on than that, any ideaS? Plus what should be the loaders settings upgrade or dump flash? cheers
