Hi, before you scan find the chip id by going to tools information then hit 8888 or 77777 check the forum if its an original or clone I have a stable image on mine haven't has a problem since with rebooting. I think mine was from november or so if you need a image dump I can upload mine to a torrent, mine are genuine so make sure its not a clone or you will need to unbrick it
hi have you tried to reboot the box mine sometimes doesn't connect to my router switching off then back on usually fixes it I am using wifi bridges with mine though hope this helps Dazzza
ps if you are using the firmware that says ko when not connecting that is I think the beta testing software I had issues with it reading slyuk card if you look back to about November there is a much more stable version which I am running on four genuine openbox s10's pm me if you need a working dump for slyuk and a good channel list I will upload to a torrent Dazzza
Hi, mate try Openbox_s9-s10_Toolbox_v1.1 use reanimator with a null modem cable and the last working image you had on your box, I had a slight hiccup with my s10 not the on problem but nothing at all, found it here somewhere can't find it again though. It got mine back up and running.

the easiest way to check a remote is with a camera phone or digital camera point the remote at the camera lense push a button and you should see a light if you dont the remote isn't working hope that helps Dazzza

Mate I wasn't having a go it works really well with cccam but I use my sly uk card so that is the only reason i'm not using it. I just thought I would give people a heads up cheers Dazzza
Hi, this does seem to make my s10 a bit quicker with cccam but it also seems to break being able to reed sly uk so i will be going back to my previous image thanks though
well my idea of having a linux pc running have been thwarted by the missus along the lines of not another pc lol. so cheapest place for a dm500 please suppose I should have checked with the boss first anyway
Hi, all my music channels are still there. on sly uk I sometimes get no signal if i pull the usb stick out without disconnecting through the menu switching off/on brings them back on hope this helps if not I can upload my channel list to a torrent if you like.

where is the best place to get a DM500c from all the ones I can find are 500s or does it matter?
no in my openbox I am using my sly uk card with the box no, in my second local box i have as daz1 and my sisters cas1, but I can only use 1 box at a time if I do that whichever box it is works fine, if 2 boxes or all 3 the channels scramble on them all including the server box with the card in. In the 2 clients boxes I have entered in mgcamd and then deleted and tried the cccam client as an n line both ways work if only 1 box is on, I thought I was onto a winner with the openbox s10 as a cheap server, but I now think I am flogging a dead horse any help would be great. Or can someone please recommend a cheap box as a server that can view and share slu uk with a max of about 5 boxes thanks Darren

Hi, I have managed to set up card sharing both internally and externally via no-ip, my problem is only one box can access the sly uk card being shared by my openbox s10 I am using as a server if only one of the boxes is on it works fine if I have a second box on both the server and second box stutter and glitch and eventually scramble. Is this a limitation of the openbox s10 I am using as a server or am I missing something any help would be appreciated thanks Darren
Still no joy having 2 or more boxes running at the same time from the openbox s10 I am trying to use as a server, with the server in standby the local box works fine with both my local boxes in standby my sisters external box works fine, the issue I'm having is I can only have one box running at a time :-(, I have tried switching emm off under the client boxunder ca slot setting still no joy. There must be a way for this to work. HELP PLEASE
I Managed to sep up dns easily surprisingly using no-ip. Now another problem I have now discovered with my openbox server on neither local nor external box will work. If my local or my. Openbox server are on my sisters external openbox wont work if I switch both my boxes to standby my sisters box works fine. I think I am going to have to go the pc route info would be great, I just want to be able to serve my sly card to 2 locals and my sisters house what software do I need and which card reader for slyuk, I thought it was to good to be true to have 1 box to serve 3 thanks Darren
Hi, after more trial and error I have found it only happens when I switch on the server box out of standby if I leave the second box alone it does eventually unscramble again. I am starting to think this is just a limitation of the box. I think I can live with this it only seems a small annoyance for cancelling my multiroom sub. Now I could really do with some help setting up dns to share with my sister at her house thanks in advance Darren
Sorry to bump an old thread, I have at the moment 2 openbox s10 both using wireless bridges one as a server one as a local share when I switch the server box on the second local box loses newcamd from the openbox server, is this normal or is there something wrong with my setup, after 30 sec to a minute the local box then reconnects to the server box. Thanks Darren
when I updated the firmware from here it had cccam and mgacam already on i think even the facory software has them as standed but the original software on mine had sound issues the latest firmware from here fixed all the problems with my boxes, all I had do do was set them up with my newcamd info. hope that helps Dazzza
