Ok agree but the Live TV integration I guess is much more comfortable even if tvheadend is a good part but its complicated for newbees like me.
Bouquets, diseqc, etc.
If you muxe by web front end its slow and and and
not bothering only my experience of the last days learning wetek play
even transfer of already available settings from E2 doesn't work here - already posted in E22TVH thread.

Windows 7 PC here and e22tvh application works excellent, no single complaint.When i transfer list to WeTek all what i do is to enable satellite at adapter in tvheadend.

You forget few stuffs...
1) there own dev team should be really huge, they sponsor all this projects, and few of those Dev. Are probably on their monthly payrool.
2) find me a box down 200 pounds that have done something from community tlmore that wetek did.
3) Find me a box down 300 pounds that does what wetek does.
4) I think this forum still have discount cuponds so perhaps you can buy with some discount.Additional I have a feeling that this is to force sales thru distributors... Same week electronics suiza in Spain and visiontec in germany the two strongest in past in dream announce they are with wetek till the bones.

Hi
I've bought a couple of week units over the few weeks and I must say...they're a great all round box.
The only huge flaw is the absence of a working softcam.
The oscam release is no good as a client and I don't think anyone has succeeded to do anything with it.
I hear that there's an enigma2 release due soon...will that have any use able cams with it.
If this wetek is to really take off then the release of any working softcam would boost sales big time.
Amiko have succeeded with the A3?? so why not Wetek

I'm hoping for integration with openelec or similar rather than stand alone e2..... maybe I'm aiming a bit high there. .
agree is nice and refreshing having something new to play with. The guides have been really helpful. Now just need to sort "picons" out for it....

Regarding batteries and why they are not shipped with device, reason is simple. All our devices are in 99% shipped with Air Express option, and almost all carriers forbid transport of goods with batteries without prior notification. It means, we should ask TNT Express, which is our shipping courier if they can deliver or not, and already customer will be waiting for device 3+ days, and our policy is free shipping with next day delivery.
Regarding Power adaptor, once more, please contact support@wetek.com and ask them for refund of cost which you spent to buy EU to UK converter, they can do it instantly over PayPal.

No doubt this post won't stay here long but so far I am not impressed with the wetek play box I received.
1. Does not come with batteries for the remote, Had to buy those my self.
2. No euro to uk plug converter, had to rob one from one of my e2 boxes.
Well issue of sell worldwide... i can live with that... will be more concerned with SW and HW quality that if they put batteries or not...No doubt this post won't stay here long but so far I am not impressed with the wetek play box I received.
3. The supplied HDMI cable is extremely poor quality, in fact this one does not work at all, I had to rob one from my Solo2, I even tested the cable on the Solo2 and it does not work at all.
HDMI is XIOMI one... pretty good one! and stylish...So.. We should buy a VU+ because it come with 2 bateries and a UK adapter but is not half good as Wetek :D

Is there an idiot proof guide for people just starting with XMBC. I have a MyGica 1800e. I follow some of the guides here but my downloaded files I can see on my USB stick. Do the files need to be downloaded with something special? What format does the USB need to be formatted to? Very new to this but willing to learn. Thanks in advance.
