I hope I'm posting this query in the right area.
I have a VU+ Solo2 running the very latest version of Vix (Hades 008)
I'm using OScam (had tried Mgcamd previously)

Generally getting 169ms - 196ms in the OScam log
I'm using a TP-Link for my network connection as I have no wired connection in my sitting room (router in hall)
This worked well previously but I am now using additional TP-Links throughout the house

My question is has anyone else had any experinece with running a TP Link powerline adapter with a satellite reciever/cam (using 4 in total with my house)
Does using additional powerline connection weaken the signal? I have a Fiber broadband connection and get 30-40MB generally.

Would wireless be better?
Using a standard vodafone fiber router (Ireland)

Hi all,

Since doing a recent update (using vix) I've noticed that my VU+ Solo 2 isn't playing recorded HD content. SD content playback is fine but HD is playing all choppy.
Almost looks like a codec issue, has anyone else come across this issue??

All files played fine prior to the update, I have taken a back up so can roll back if necessary

Just got OnDemand installed there! great job :)
Where would I get the latest version of the "RTE Player" plugin? just out of curiosity? OnDemand does the job nicely!

Will the OnDemand plugin work with the RTE player? I have tried the RTE Player Plugin but the video stop after a few minutes (not a bandwidth issue)

I running a VU+ solo 2 with the latest version of VIX

Thanks for both replies - what is the bare minumum that is required on the config' side to operate dual cams?
Updated CCcam to 2.3.0 but same prob, I just want to setup as a client no server setup required - solo 2 is running vix

the details I have are in the following format

N: something.domain.something port# user pw 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Can someone point in the the right direction for a complete dummies guide on setting up OScam?
I already have it installed on my VU solo 2 but I need step by step instructions on how to configuire it.

My aim is to watch / record 2 encrypted channels simultaneously (at present CCcam isn't doing the trick)
I think I need to setup dvbapi on it - again can someone point me in the direction of a step by step dummies guide.
