just installing the ipk it found the usb key which is a start !

i've also copied the files across to the etc/tubox/config directory

ipk installed oscam files copied and box is now just rebooting :)

i can now view the open web with port 8888 not that it makes any sense to me :O !

thanks master G i've edited the files where user was different to linuxsatsupport would it be ok to attach for your review? i've also copied the ipk file to a usb which i assume i just need to install into the back of the amiko ?

thanks for the reply i'm at a loss with this box ! in which folder should i put the attached files? var/keys or user/keys or maybe a completely different folder all together ? banging my head off the wall .....

here's the box info not sure if you can determine the image i found a file called E2jffs2 on a usb when i tried to backup the image (in case i fupped it up ! )

hi guys i'm also having problems trying to configure my amiko 8900 i am new to this so excuse my ignorance .....i've managed to get some clines but cannot get them to work. i've done a bit of reading and found out i need to convert them to N lines as i use oscam. i've copied the converted clines into the oscam conf file but i'm still not getting any channels... i'd really appreciate any guidance on this please let me know what i need to post (file wise) and i will do so appreciate any help you guys can give me thanks in advance !

so guys i've been doing a bit of digging if i was to subscribe to a full package with a service provider i could share this card with family friends etc and limit the number of family through Flines in my oscam config? same thing applies for multi room viewing instead of paying for each box i could share the card with all the same channels throughout my house again via Flines? my next question is how do i get the code from my card? and how do i add the code to oscam which my amiko 8900 is currently running or is that too broad a question? i can see some folk slapping their foreheads with this question ....

thanks Codar is it worth creating a NOOB thread for people like me ? i couldn't specifically find one :16_002: i'll review the forums rules as i have a few questions that i need to ask but don't want to breach the rules .. i have the correct image and oscam on the box i just need to find these codes and figure out how i apply them through DCC appreciate your response and help !

thank stevejo i found that out alright hence the reason why i've left oscam on the box i'll do a search on the forum i'm sure there's a noobs guide to configure once of these boxes. My head feels like it's about to explode ! you mentioned getting a share from someone else can i ask how i go about doing that ? or am i reliant on finding it over the web? i've read bad things about sharing sites which from what i understand i can avoid? apologies for all the Q's !

hi Stevejo thanks for the reply ! i'm new to this so not sure how i'd even go about getting that i've read abit about oscam and ccam but i haven't a clue how to even configure them.... the box has a plugin for oscam i thought that would get me the channels ?

hi guys i'm yet another NOOB to this and wondering if you could point me in the right direction i've purchased an AMiko 8900 preloaded with E2 but i haven't a clue how to set it up . i've performed some scans and found alot of stations but they are all scrambled i've spent approx 13 hours at trying to configure this and now at a complete loss any guidance would be most appreciated. !!:54_002:
