Did all that, waited a few minutes but nothing happened. What image does the panel work best in? I find it by far the easiest panel to work with for finding plugins so would rather use something different that not have access to it

Yep that's the first thing I did mate, it says I have 92 mb free (it must have used the small partition but that's still plenty)

The panel installs fine but nothing happens when I try to open it, is there any way round this? (The same happens if I have an older version of the panel, and I've tried a reflash too)

Currently using the image in THIS thread.

I've installed the XMLTV plugin via telnet, and it shows in my installed packages, and in PluginSkinMover, but I can't seem to access it from the plugins menu to set it up.

Am I being daft and missing something obvious, or maybe have I installed it incorrectly?

Any help greatly appreciated :)

I've had problems with both crossepg and the built in Blackhole EPG panel - none of them seem to work for me no matter what I do.

I used the EPG guide that was posted on this site but nothing helps - i've tried the rytec sources, opentv sources but no luck.

The closest I got was epg.dat.gz appearing in the media/usb folder but it didn't populate into the channel list.

Anyone experienced this before? It's been a problem for me on any blackhole image i've tried, which is a real shame as I find those images to be the best

Just reflashed with blackhole 2.1.7, and it's great apart from this.

It doesn't happen at set intervals, it can be every minute or not at all for a couple of hours, but it always happens again eventually. Not the end of the world but it can be pretty annoying

Should crossepg work with this image? Can't actually get any epg to download, can anyone help?

Thank you - I take I just check the box for "custom" when I re-scan and it should leave the channels in the same position?

Is it possible to update my channel list, without moving the order of my channels around?

I have them set up in a way that I like them and don't really want to have to do it every time I lose a channel and have to update

Not sure what was going wrong but I flashed it with open pli 2.1 from this site and it's running fine now. Thanks :)

I have reflashed a few different images now and every time I go to use the dreambox in the morning, the LED display shows the STOP page again.

I'm using bootloader 84 and sim 2.01.

Has anyone encountered anything like this before? I thought reflashing would have cured it but a couple of different images haven't fixed it

Hi everyone - I would be grateful if someone with more knowledge would be able to help me with my dm800hd clone?

I tried to reflash with a .nfi image that I had saved as a backup (via a plugin on enigma 2), due to a problem with my EPG. Unfortunately, it made it even worse and now I just have a solid red light and "ERROR" on the LCD. I have been trying to find a solution and have saw "NO CA" mentioned quite a few times on various sites, however my box does not say this, it just says ERROR.

I downloaded a new image for the sim 2.01 box (OPENATV 4.2) and tried to reflash with a null cable and dreamup.

I was able to connect to my box (not via network, however, so the upload tooks a very long time) - i used the patched version of dreamup and while the image uploaded to the box, it stuck at the message "box is flashing to it's memory" and remained there for hours.

Have any of you encountered this before or could you shed any light on it?

Just an update in case anyone else ever has this issue -

I managed to get it fixed. I used optiflash and attempted to repair bad sectors. The message "finalising phase 2" stayed on screen for ages. I didn't think it had worked so I disconnected the box, rebooted it and it went into STOP mode which enabled me to reflash via the browser.
