Hi I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction...
I am trying to modify the font color for the Titles in the Bouquet EPG (right pane where it shows what's currently on and description) - the titles are a feint blue which is really clashing with the background and making it really hard to read.
I know that I need to edit something in the skin.xml but I can't find what I am looking for, I am not sure which "screen name" is for that part of the image.

I recently set up OpenVPN on my Vu Solo2 (vix) and it's working great, however I now obviously can not access openwebif externally (outside my home).
I know that I need to change or set something up on my router and change ports etc. but I am not sure exactly what.
I would be grateful if someone could please guide me, I tried looking on the web but I just can't get my head around it! :\
So i basically have PIA vpn and have set that up on my receiver which is working, in OpenWebif I have turned HTTP and HTTPS OFF and have enabled the option "Enable VPN Access" which I set to YES. I don't really get which port number i now need to use or which hostname I need to use, I am currently using a dynamicdns hostname which is and I forwarded port on my router (just a random number which i set in openwebif) and that's how I basically used to stream my box from outside my network.
My router is a Netgear R7000 there is an option there to Enable VPN which I have ticked.
Which hostname and port number would i need to use? And in OpenWebif do I enable HTTP or HTTPS?

Please close this thread - in the end I just learnt and decided to do the whole thing manually by creating bouquet and adding channels to it from the box itself, and then FTP'ing to the box and change the SERVICE PID manually to match a DVB service.
Everything works! Picons and EPG, It's time consuming but ahh well at least i've found something to keep me occupied :)

Just one quick question though..if you set the stream to DVB, it shows the EPG and Picon.
However, if you set the stream to gstreamer and select the service to coopy the service id from it still does not show the epg and picon.
Now these IPTV streams will obviously only work as gstreamer because they're not DVB services...so then I don't get how people can get the epg and picon and the stream to work all at once - slightly baffled :\
change it back to dvb then bud
what does your m3u file look like if you open it with notepad?
has it got this in it

Basically whenever I write the settings back to the box it's like it's deleting something that makes the IPTV bouquet work, maybe over-writing something?
I am definitely doing all the steps right and have followed the videos etc. Infact if I play the stream from within Echannelizer it plays fine and works, just when I write it to the box something happens...

highlight all your iptv streams in echannelizer
then right click and choose 'stream type' and try Gstreamer
then write back to box and test

But the newly created bouquet doesn't play any channel and also on top of that doesn't show the EPG or Picon, probably because I set it to gstreamer (4097) - wheras before when it was DVB it would show the Picon and EPG etc.
Do you have any other suggestions please? Or have you experienced something like this before?

I was hoping someone could advise me on what I may be doing wrong...
I've created a bouquet from an M3U Link, I have then sorted the EPG and Picon for the streams by using the DVB service ref.
I then assume that once I've done all that i click the Write button, and then just click Ok on the next screen which then writes to my box.
The problem I have is that when I go back to my box NONE of the iptv streams work, the picon and epg info is all there which is great but nothing is now playing.
Even in the Original IPTV bouquet nothing works...I then have to reload the original IPTV channels to get it working again..
Any ideas? I really would appreciate the help, thanks...i am assuming after pressing write maybe on the screen before i press ok i might need to de-select something?

Basically I have a Solo4k and have installed the above oscam-emu 4k but it seems to perform a lot more worse than the Mgcamd 1.35 - i've installed the ipk, converted an N: line to oscam.server and it freezes and stutters a lot, i've heard that oscam is supposed to be very good, i think i might I might need to tweak something, do you know what i need to tweak to get better performance/consistency?
Lastly, i have a Solo2 with mgcamd 1.45 and that works really good, it is much better than my solo4k with mgcamd 1.35 as that has noticeable more glitching - I was wondering if in the future they would ever make 1.38 or 1.45 compatible with the 4k receivers? Sorry for the long questions, i really appreciate your help.
What's the difference between "Modern" and the normal ipk?

After experimenting for a few days i've noticed that even with the VLC option it still does a similar thing where the stream will either completely stop or the audio will cut out etc. HOWEVER, as a test i re-imaged my box using a backup image from satvenus OpenPLI 4 just to see, and then when i install the v6.0 you provided and set up the blc it plays perfectly (albeit a drop in video quality and a minor bit of stutter) i then reflashed my box with a clean image of OpenPLI 4 and then installed the v6.0 iptvworld again, however this time it was freezing for me and doing the same thing as what is originally happening where the stream will stop after about 30 seconds, it does not matter which image i use, Blackhole, OpenATV, OpenVix and even when i install OpenPLI..which is making me think it has to do with the media player or there's a certain driver/dependency,plugin that i am missing, the media player that was in the backup image was different, not sure if it was just a visual thing or if it actually was another media player plug in being used

Setup vlc on computer for 'Play with vlc' option :
1. Download and install vlc 2.2.4 (.exe) from :-
http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/2.2.4/
2. Start vlc. Do :
Tools -> Preferences -> All -> Interface -> Main Interface -> Select 'Web'
3. Next do :
Main Interface -> Lua -> Insert Password "Admin" (without quotes "")
4. Select Save.
5. Select the Toggle button (see attached screenshot).

Now when I play something it actually continues to play which is great!
I just have one question though - the only thing now is there seems to be a noticeable drop in quality now when playing with vlc - is there something I may need to tweak in vlc in order to get the best performance/quality?
I have a very good internet connection with high speeds so it can't be that..

Sorry actually would anyone be able to tell me which receivers IPTVworld has been tested on? I am thinking about testing different receivers, but i'm curious to know which receiver has this been tested on and is known to be working?
I've tested this on Vu Solo2 with Blackhole and OpenPLI 4 but the streams still freeze after roughly 15-25 seconds every time no matter which stream..
I'd appreciate any advice, thanks!
