Re-flashed my box when the problem first arised and have updated box every couple of days with no problem at all so far, but to be in safe side I make a full backup once a week.

Amazing! you have people that commit all hours of the day to make life easier for a lot of us! in fact I know that they commit so much that they don't have the time to relax and enjoy the work they provide for a lot of people here and in other forums.

Then you get some people with comments like these above?

I use Open BH 0.6 with no problems! and I have to be honest, I get bored if the Image runs and runs with out problems at all, I like a challenge once in a while!

My setup is as follows:
TV= LG55UB820V
Solo 4K HDMI connection and Open BH 0.6 latest update Resolution 2160p

problem is that when I go in to let's say in Hispasat there is 4 free to air 4K test channels i can see 1 channel Ok but the others I get sound but no Picture and same when I go in to Sport tv 4K but a friend of mine can see this channel no problems!
When on Kodi 16.1 I can watch 50% of the 4K Movies and the others are just sound but black screen

My question is, Can it be Solo 4K driver related or is everybody in the same boat
Can I update just the drivers and how?

What emulator are you using?

I have always been a Black Hole fan but since I changed to OBH 0.6 I have had no regrets (Great Image on solo 4K and still going strong)

Remember that the front usb is 2.0, even dough a usb 3.0 sticks works, I found that when flashing box a usb 2.0 is more stable

Think it's sorted!

1) removed usb but problem still there
2) Went in to my router and disabled all open ports
3) as suggested by "pauldb" here in this forum I scanned my Pc using HitmanPro were it found the file (Adwcleaner din't do the job)
4) Restarted Network including Pc and Solo 4K

60 minutes later still looks good!

had a look around the net and it crops up 2015 on a solo, turns out its virus coming from the host computer maybe you have a virus on your pc or hidden on a usb stick

I do a virus scan on my laptop every day and never flagged up, I have just removed the usb from the box and funny enough as soon as I removed the usb stick while box on it went blank like no image, had to restart box
Will monitor to see if files appear without usb.

Usb out but file still appears, I then delete but within 3 to 4 minutes it reappears in HDD

For some time I have had small issues with may setup ie: image freezing during the night while unattended /mgcamd suddenly restarting and most annoying was the spinner appearing occasionally
At first I thought it could be something to do with network or even EPG when auto updating, so after tweaking around and although it got better things were not right.
The other day I decided to delete some files from my HDD and that’s when I saw two files I didn’t recognise (IMG0001.exe and info.zip) I proceeded to delete those files and restarted box.
Went back to my HDD and they were there again, so I decided to go through all files in My box and found that all files in the etc folder had those same files
I have deleted from all files and so far it has not appeared

Since I deleted these two files the zapping seems faster and more stable

My question is? Has anyone had this and what are these files?

The signal is OK as for the freezing sometimes all it takes is:
1) Do a reboot of your Router and Vu+ box
2) Ask who ever is supplying the line to do a reboot (That usually solves the freezing)
3) if still freezing do a fresh scan of the provider/channel in question

Sounds like tv setup ie; Refresh Rate

Definitely nothing to do with sofcams

All working good!
The problem must have started when I change my HDD the other day, even dough it detected in device manager it did not show in DCC therefore lagging when doing a Full restore,
What I did was install a earlier backup image with the new HDD installed and now the Full backup is working (6.10s minutes to do full backup)

BTW: one thing that I hadn't noticed before was that when your start a full backup it's normal to see in DCC a file called (bi) while the backup is in process and only when the full backup is completed the bi file changes to vuplus file.

My point exactly, it should create a vuplus folder with the files inside, the problem is that it's creating a folder called bi and no solo 4K folder inside just the files
