In my modest experience, 6.3 for H7, and many other boxes, is still a waste of time/nerves. YMMV.

Sort of busy with other stuff. Hopefully, pornjava will be fixed soon. Really not a quick fix.

Although, there is a 2nd way, insert mSD card, power on with reset button pressed. But, for the sake of simplicity and to avoid messing with the bootloader parameters, the 1st method, update Android, sounds safer.
-
Update Android to the latest version, which has E2 boot menu.
-
For AVCHD (Sony/Panasonic *.mts) from telnet or whatever favorite way:
opkg install gstreamer1.0-libav

Do not have that box, but... standard E2 buttons for REV (1 fine, 4 mid, 7 coarse) and FF ( 3 fine, 6 mid, 9 coarse) do not work ?
-
Thx, still, there is some stuff to polish on our side, but otherwise, as far as the new 64 bit hoopla goes, it seems very ok.
-
Well, it can be done, *but*, you might put yourself in a nonrecoverable status, as that would mean messing with the bootloader and all that nasty stuff:) Why not try a boot from a decent (fast) USB stick? I think that works rather well.

In case somebody has problems locking on some more demanding TPs (like, say, certain chs on 9E) and has an advanced multi LNB setup, please try to set
*Sequence repeat* to yes
It did solve some drama in my case (i.e. need to change to a FTA 1st and then back to a desired channel)
Motors/positioners do not have this problem. -
Usually some crap happens with mSD card, like untidy power off or similar stuff. To make things worse AML is very picky about mSD types/manufactures; Samsung Evo and Sandsik class 10 seem to be in compliance with this kernel, some not so. To make things a bit more complicated, there are a lot of fore mentioned fake mSD cards.
With FTP did not notice any drama, but if I missed something, try SFTP, should be more reliable. Anyway, E2 on this box is work in progress, but the factory and some other people are working on it.

Nice find with that % stuff:) Hopefully the skin could be fixed soon.
Btw, OsMIO4k is really, really nice box. Looks good, works well, abundance of internal flash, perfect tuners, etc. And of course, flawlessly opens stuff that is too distant for some other boxes. -
Well, there are actually no very good news, as there is NO e2 for A4. There were some dev versions of pure2 but the work was abandoned as A5 was a priority, maybe in the future. Big maybe, very big :).

Powered on and flashed latest image after some time. It is nice to see that this indestructible box (like a stalwart tank) still marches on:) Picture quality, especially SD upscale, is top notch, colors and contrast just great. In some areas even the latest boxes cannot beat it (AV sync, zap...).
Than there is effortless Multistream support, again a bridge too far for many new boxes... 9E stuff works great, etc...
Due to memory limitations (not speed), It seems prudent to use the lightest available skin from the feeds -> modified Pli full HD and use videomode with 'multi' settings.

Re manual installation of oscamemus, the paths are:
for the binary itself: /usr/bin/cam
control script: /usr/script/cam
in short, it is probably safer to copy the latest binary than install ipk unless the ipk works with the above folders. -
Do not want to spoil your joy, but, in my case, the motor behaviour was erratic; after few resets (power off - disconnected from the box) all seemed fine for some short time, but, alas.... If I remember correctly, some models had eeprom on/in a socket (prone to temperature snafus) so it might be prudent to open it and try to push it firmly back. Wish you the best, this motor drama cost me fine nerves and time :)

Ah well, E2 was for years in the Broadcom domain, so any port to a different SoC/SW platform is a bit painful. On the other hand, there could be some benefits, like better working Kodi, dual boot with Android, etc. I guess, situation is not B&W, but at least some shades of grey are in there :).

Extra options for the motor enabled? Tried to change speed etc. ? If that motor "cryptic h-h 100" is Stab HH-100 or some variant, it should be ok on default as I use the same one, but, yes, sometimes the electronics inside the motor dies and no cure. Actually, I had the very same symptoms and had to replace the rotor.

It seems that (aarch64) enigma2-plugin-camd-oscam-emu - 11471-r785, from the feeds, works really better than the one in the image (no stutters, 9E all fine). Please update/switch.
