running Version#7107 with Cacheex and Newcamd all working fine buddy?
Wasn't aware of these issues? Perhap CapNCook will offer some extra Advice but #7107 works fine
Lol like London Buses 3 at Once!
:snicker:
folder called 'vu' or 'vuplus'?
The structure should be Folder vuplus > duo > cfe.bin file
If vu change the folder to 'vuplus' ensure there is a subfolder called 'duo' and the file(s) are in that and the Duo should recognise it buddy
Your Sat feed is in correctly yeah?
Failing that try to run/update the auto bouquets plugin and see if that sorts it!
Apart from that image is working? Menu, Plugins e.t.c ??
on CLine issue I can only talk about my setup using Oscam and MgCamd - I have one line in Duo newcamd.list and am able to record/view using both tuners! So you should be ok?
hopefully someone will shout if not buddy
Probably look at MusoGeek's or Master G's backup
http://linuxsat-support.com/vu…-duo-backup-musogeek.html
http://linuxsat-support.com/vu…vu-duo-oe3-0-release.html
As its new i would put Master G post version on it first as i think they need a full flash install of 3.0 release before you can add/use backups so flash that 1st!
Then if you want the various plugins e.t.c in Muso's flash with that after!
Any problems post back!
Separate C-line.....You shouldn't do mate....i had 2 lines/accounts setup for mine and found in Oscam Webif the 2nd account wasn't being used so deleted and all is fine! lol!
2nd Mckee's comments!
Vix very easy to use.....with CrossEpg the Epg is great and Very Mrs/Woman Friendly lol!
I would normally say Experiment yourself but as a starting point Vix is very Good!
Me wonders whether its a Clone or Not firstly!
Either way there isn't much we/these guys don't know or haven't come across with the Vu so get an Intro sorted and explain in more detail your problem?
Vu Rocks Baby!
if you have the sat feed in it then most probably a problem with the C Line!
Where has it come from?
You say most channels? Free to Air channels or Paid Sub Channels or a mixture of both?
A big question to answer/solve without knowing the ins and outs mate!
press thanks (bottom left of post) and you should be able to download!
Please also make an Introduction in Introductions

probably BT Vision :snicker:
better to use notepad ++ as you can't save the file with the cfg extension in normal notepad!
Read post above...unless i need to go specsavers it does tell ya!
:snicker:
you need to get your Cccam.cfg file (with your C line in it) into /etc/ location on you Vu
Few ways...either copy it to your usb and use filebrowser to copy it from USB to /etc/ folder on vu
or use something like Dreambox Control Center link below
http://linuxsat-support.com/wi…enter-latest-version.html
Connect to your Vu and locate the /etc/ folder...copy Cccam.cfg file to that location
or FTP the file to your Vu placing it into /etc/ folder
Restart Cam on your box and you should be connected!
Can you both pass by Introductions Please Guys and quickly Introduce yourself!
Introductions......2 mins to Introduce yourself to the Community!
Use Dreambox Live and works a charm! Think you have to be on the same network as Duo though???
You can watch/view channels on IPad whilst Mrs/Kids watch the box!
If you want to access/stream outside of network you may need another program.....for example Enigma Tv (Pc) or Idreamx (Mac).....they will allow you to set-up Duo
to stream/access outside of your home network!
Hopefully one of the pro's will add/help....haven't had the need to use these functions yet im afraid! (Which i suppose is a good thing)
It may be an easier/better route to change IP address/name of server to finally get rid of him....if he doesn't know IP or DNS name it will be harder to attempt to connect!
