  • Slingbox pro

    Im using a slinbox pro with a dm 500s which everything works fine but I want to connect my kryptview a780 which is also SD.At the back of the sling box there are three inputs one for 3,RCA this is for the dm500 ,One has 2,RCA and super video and one for HDMI.From the kryptviews scart soccet I connected one of those scart to supervideo and 3rca adapter and ran 2rca and supervideo to the sling box,Now the slingbox pics up the kryptvew but the streaming is black and white and quite a choppy picture.(like an old vcr when auto tracking)I am thinking that the scart adapter is not doing its job,If I ran a scart to 3rca from the krytview to the slingbox and used a 1rca to supervideo adapter at the sling box end would that work? would it still be black and white because they are two different signals?

    I remember this,you needed an old television where you could fine tune the signal, i thought all this stopped when cable went digital.I did all my mates tvs at the time.There was a few sports channels and entertainment channels and kids you could get.

  • Streaming to vlc

    The Tuxbox version I am using is 0.0.6, I just tried to download it again from http://tuxbox-xbmc-plugin.blogspot.co.uk/ to upload here but it seems not to be working at the moment.
    Once you download the .zip file,Open Kodi----SYSTEM----ADD-ONS----Install from zip file----C:(This is my harddrive ,you can check your hdd in my computer)----User----your computer name mine is HOME----Downloads----Then select the zip file you downloaded and install it.Once tuxbox is installed you can find it in VIDEOS----video add-ons----tuxbox.Now to Configure it you need to right click on tuxbox----Add-on information----Configure,The IP address is your boxes ip,User is root,pass is admin,unselect show epg and smart epg because this caused it to crash for me then click on ok at the bottom and that's it all setup.




    The downloads working again but don't know how to upload the file

    I have been messing around with tuxbox kodi addon and for me it works a lot better than vlc.Thought i would share this with anyone struggling to stream paychannels on commando image

  • moving channels

    Im using commando image 15.1c,how do I move channels from allsat to entertainment or sports.i have tried dreambox edit i get an error saying a file is missing when trying to ftp the channel list to my pc

    The so called firmware is Infinity x n001 PV4.3.0.8 nothing comes up through google search except the created thread. The said channels are still down and I had moved to sat for the time being anyway but thought this would be a handy bit of firmware to have for future use.

    I should of took a screen shot before admin removed it. The info came from two long serving members of the forum but cam talk is not allowed, It basically showed a menu to put nline info into it and the channels open what are closed at the moment.

    In IE go to tools and compatable view and add lynux sat,Also you can change the .php file extension to .rar or what ever it should be and that works

    Does anybody have acsess to the firmware for the krytview a780 to use newcamd.There has been posts and pictures showing this possible on another forum but the thread was closed before it went anywhere.

    What version of vlc works with the dm500.I get a picture with vlc 0.8.6 but no audio i have installed k lite codec pack also.
