  • How to delete a plugin

    Im trying to find out how to delete a plugin on my open pli 8.6 nbox 500sx. Its an adult plugin and I dont want the kids playing with it.
    Problem is it doesnt show up in the manage plugin menu (Add/remove plugins).
    Ive tried looking for the ipk uninstall method but theres no ipk file.


    Can i just remove the plugin folder in usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions? Or will this cause probelms?


    Or can i pin protect the plugins (So they cant be accessed with out a pin number)?

  • Best way to back up image

    Ive looked on here and I cant find instructions in the best way to back up my stable image. Ive used the back up from blue panel and E2 settings (But its just backed up settings).


    Im running openpli V8.6 and all seems stable so want to save it now incase of emergency!

  • Hard drive not mapping on network

    I'm looking for some help here, Ive a nbox 5800sx running openpli 8.6. All working well, except i cannot see the usb hard drive on my home network. The harddrive is working fine on the box (Im able to record and time shift).


    Ive a DM800 in the bedroom with a hard drive attached, and that hard drive is showing on my network and the nbox.


    How to I see the nbox's harddrive on my PC's and network please?
