I'm on the latest Open ATV image on my box. recently Beeb 1, 2 & eyeTV lose sound or freezing picture or sound but no picture. Connected via ethernet, speeds are goods. Only them channels the rest work fine. yesterday I had to Uefa1 channel for the footy.
how is 1080p picture better than 4k?
i want a box which is better than a vu solo2 and clears HEVC channels as the vu doesn't. How much will that cost? Can't be more than £200?
Any help or advice to above questions?
ok, Octagon sf8008 has the best support. Out of all the enigma2 box available today. Which has the fast processor/cpu? Also one which clears HEVC channels? And one you dont need to clear cache every now and again like firesticks. Basically best specs. How do they compare with my current box below?
I've had a vu solo2 for years now and still running great, just that it doesn't clear the HEVC channels now. Thanks

Also for IPTV is Enigma2 boxes better or would you go android now with the likes of Formuler z11 pro max?
i think i have solved it. It was due to serviceapp. I changed the enigma2 playback from original to serviceapp and player to exteplayer3. Now the channels dont freeze.
Does anyone know the best setting for serviceapp? There is another player gstplayer aswell.
all channels are fine apart from bbc1 and 2. Just freeze after a few seconds. What can it be? Is this happen to anyone else on this image?
Using XE plugin could this be the issue?
Has to be image or box related as i run my sub on a android app and no such issue.
Are these the correct setting on my Open atv image 7.3?

Ill activate debug and check file also restart indicator has a choice of default or none so left that on default

I'm using openatv 7.3 image on vu solo2 box. I have quarter pounder installed with the attached settings.
My bbc1 & bbc2 freeze after a couple of seconds of being on the channel. The plugin doesn't restart these channels, why?
when in vpn manager menu tab it doesn't tell you any methods how to add username and password? I don't even know the path where the config files are. For me i got username and password from nord website ran script. Then created a pass.file. then via ftp went into media, hdd, nordvpn. Then created a new file, then input passfile in that folder with one opvn file. Then on the box went into vpn manager menu tick put all files in one folder & tick start on boot up. Then exit out pick location and press ok. Connected. Done

Yes, i'm sure you have to create a pass.file.txt and put it somewhere but dont know where. paste it in a folder or create new folder and paste it in there. thats the bit I dont know.

As these post date back to 2019 so don't know if still relevant with the nord vpn changes recently

I know manually but how? Yesterday, I went onto Nord website, copy username & password & put it in manually into nordvpn connecter but still not working. Press load new config files everyting. It killed my channels so had to remove plugin for them to work again.
Do you update anything via FTP?
If you look at the guide on nord, it also stops at copy username and password but doesn't tell you what to do next?
