  • OpenWebIf - Can ZAP over WANIP but not play?

    Hi Chaps,


    Got Openwebif working internally on BH177, and have now configured port forwarding to allow external connections (Port # changed etc). So I can open the OpenWebInterface without issues, view bouquets, EPGs etc however when I attempt to play it just throws a wobble?


    WMP says cannot find the file?
    XMBC Using TUXBOX also doesnt play using the external IP.


    Both do play when connecting on the internal routers IP.



    Any ideas?

  • Nilesat 7West - London Area - Expected Dish size?

    Hi Gents


    Im in the process of buying a decent sat finder however I'm wondering if I also need a newer larger dish too to recieve 7W?


    I've a 80CM Motorsied at the moment which works well but picking up shit all of 26E and 7E along with a few others (hence the sat finder purchase) to get the arc sorted out.


    Will an 80CM dish get me a good signal for 7West channels?

  • STB Clone Advice and Costs Required

    Hi Guys,


    So my friends are loving my setup at the moment but are not overly keen on splashing out the money, even for the cheaper Vu+ Solo whcih is what I have.


    What are the best clones, and what should I be looking at spending on them?


    VU Clone CE Cheapest I can find is £120
    VU Duo CE Cheapest I can find is £190
    NewDVB DVB500/800 Unable to find on the interweb


    What other boxes would you recommend? I would prefer enigma2, with HD. I'd like to get my mates a decent cloned box with excellent support so dont they bother me too much and can do their own research on here :)

  • MeoBoot Help

    I was a littel quick to say it returned. it never - well it did appear there but as I previously deleted the files it threw a wobbly and crashed my STB. Just done a restore from a backup taken, and MeoBoot is fine now, reliased why it was failing to execute animage I uploaded - flippin white space in the file name. Whoops.

    I just uninstalled MeoBoot manually - and now need to reinstall it but cant find the package anywhere.


    Can you point me in the rigth direction - I've searched the site but unable to locate.

    Cheers phoenix - Yeah I know - I love the latest ViX image and it tickets all boxes from off the shelf install except the Ghost Feature - but I suspose I can use the meoboot etc for that.


    I'll fire up ViX in meoboot and check it out, pal.


    Also - didnt realise you were affiliated with ViX - that must be interesting.

    I'm trying to sort out my keymapping file so that when the infobar is onscreen and I click right or left to view what ison the other channels I dont want it to also zap the thing automatically - I want similar behaviour to the sly remote.



    Any idea what I need to change - I think it's this section I should be focusing on?

    Not entirely sure what I've done but I've not physically turned the dish, or fine tuned from within the STB but now I am finding stuff on 16e.


    I blame the bird "!£! that I've just noticed on my dish.

    Cheers, just having probs turning in to all the Sats on the Arc. I cna find 28, 19 and 13 no bother but no services on 16 although it locks in at around 58% for AGC and SNR. I've not attemtped west rigs yet.
