nagra boxkey is 16 digits so I guess drfs has them mixed up there, you should try oscam with that card, it should work much better and greatly reduce your ecm times
Im not sure you can, they are embedded linux and were for cs on hotbird I think, I doubt you will get any use other than fta from it
I would say there is some conflict with the cacheex feature, if you try again check your logs for any errors
Please post your results using oscam>client, especially ecm times
Yep rqcs will connect to some newer versions of oscam but will not share to clients for some reason, and also as you say it will not connect at all to some
Are you using the rsa or cam_ n for pairing ?
I suggest you use oscam alone and have all clients using mgcamd, imho it's the best way and you should see an improvement in ecm times as well
rte1 and 2 have aertel text, tv3 has threetext and tg4 has rubbish text :-)
All irish channels though
Why do you have rqcs>oscam, they are both cardservers with very similar source code, just use oscam alone
What ecm times are you getting with rq>os>client ?
rqcs alone should give 360ms average and oscam alone could possible half that if setup correctly
It's a pity raton went underground I would have liked to see rqcs grow a bit more
A lot of guys in NA have switched to oscam from rqcs for their n3 cards, they both have a built in cache but the obvious difference is the many extra features that oscam has over rqcs
So you can choose
rqcs only
rqcs/csp
oscam only
oscam/csp
I would say oscam only as you have more control

Entitlements for channels like racing uk will only go to your main card, are you subscribing to any channels outside of the s*y channel packs, ?
or if it's setanta or you recently added the hd pack you need to ring them and ask for those channels to be added to your 2nd card.
But a word of warning if you ask them to add the hd pack to your 2nd card be sure it's a hd box you have for it, if not they might get suspicious ;-)
The eircom routers have a hidden "open" port built into the firmware for what they call "support"
They can at any time log into your router and see all devices on your network, all open ports and they can even upgrade the firmware if you ring them to complain about their service being shite
So as said never use a router supplied by your broadband provider if you cardshare or do anything else that may be considered "dodgy"
Google "install ddclient on debian"
Yes it did, but what was missing would not install independently, it kept saying it was already there, but im thinking now it's location may have been wrong.
Anyhow I upgraded to the new oscam bin #7753 it started fine so I rebooted to be sure it would find my omnikeys, it did and has been running fine since so happy days.
Sorted the lib error by building a new oscam on the 64bit pc
Thanks cap for your help, much appreciated
DVB-C stands for Digital Video Broadcasting - Cable and it is the DVB European consortium standard for the broadcast transmission
of digital television over cable. This system transmits an MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 family digital audio/digital video stream,
using a QAM modulation with channel coding.
DVB-S is an abbreviation for Digital Video Broadcasting — Satellite
it is the original Digital Video Broadcasting Forward error correction and demodulation standard for Satellite Television
I got a lib error last night trying to run your one so I need to start fresh when I have more time
Thanks again for your time

Thanks for your time but still no good, I need to dig a bit deeper with this machine I think
And 6089 is quite old but very stable and has never crashed
I've actually gone through a few of them already but they either won't start or fail miserably on my 64 bit machine, that's why I asked if someone had a working one
It's currently on OSCAM 1.10rc-svn build #6089 and solid as a rock but I need cacheex for some testing ;-)
If anyone has a Working oscam for 64bit ubuntu with pcsc support and cacheex could you upload the bin file here please
Thanks in advance
The des key is changed for security, it should never be left at the default, you must use whatever des key the server uses or it will not allow your line to connect
